Is it possible for human being to forgive?

It is easy to say that we can forgive partner's cheat, friend's betrayal or bother's/sister's lies. But can we forgive murder, rape, torture? Do you think that war victims can forgive their oppressors?

Like you guys, I don't hate anyone, and I always try to forgive but still I believe that there are some things that no one can forgive.

In 1999 in my country broke out a war and my cousin died during the bombing of the city. He was 6 years old. My aunt is one of the best person I know but she'll never forgive this, and I don't blame her.

Mostly because of this, I believe that no matter how good person you are, something like this can't be forgiven.

Sure, I can forgive war criminals and despots, no problem, I can even forgive Hitler to a degree. That's not to say I don't want to see said people executed, they've forfeited their rights as human beings, so anything that's done to them is perfectly alright.

That highly depends on the person. Some things can never be forgiven, I believe. But yo can still repent for them.

Hatred in one's own heart can lead to awful things, it's best to just let it go.
