Opinions on the Uchiha Clan, Why do people hate them?

I've seen an incredible lot of hate of them in the recent weeks, so I wanted to get people's views on them. Do you like them? if you don't why don't you like them?

Normally people can't stand the arrogance and the "I don't care" look the Uchiha members always have.

Personally those are 2 of the reasons I like them xd

i dont hate the clan i just find it really annoying how they always find a way to want to get revenge
and they are always depressed and talk about nothing but despair.
when it comes to strength and skill i like them a lot.

Apparantly, if you get upset when bad things happen, you're stupid. At least, that's the logic of Uchiha haters.

I personally like the Uchiha because their reactions to things are just exagarrated parallels of what would happen in real life if someone loses what's important to them.

How ironic you call the Uchiha boring when they make up a majority of the plot.

For me personally part of my dislike comes from fanboys.....but that aside I feel like they are written as a helpless and opressed clan, but they really weren't.

People say they were screwed over and what not, but they were called a Noble Clan! How can you feel opressed when you are one of Four Clans with special recognition?! On top of that, they were specifically put in charge of the Police Force....instead of seeing it as a way to help the village, they thought they were being put down....I just don't get it.

The drive for power that the Uchiha took is basically what gives them a negative light in my eyes. They discarded all of the positive things they had in the village, and thought the only option was through revolution that they could be satisfied. Basically they saw themeselves as better or more deserving than everyone else, and it didn't make sense. The Senju were basically gone, and the people in charge weren't even the Senju when they went to rebel. No other clan was being placed above them, and in fact once again they were placed above other clans.

Then, with their massacre everyone says it is the fault of Konoha or the Senju or Tobirama, but they forget the key element: Who was in rebellion?! Answer: The Uchiha....they honestly have the largest role to blame in their deaths.

Despite all of this, I still have respect for the clan, and could possibly come to like them more depending on Sasuke's choice. Itachi, Shisui, and from context clues Izuna have all been kind, loving, and selfless individual...heck even Obito at a time was a great shinobi. Between teh four of them I keep from hating the clan because I know there were people in the clan that didn't think they were all that.

I guess that is my speal: In a summary, I dislike how they are commonly portrayed, I dislike how they acted, but I respect their power and I respect the members within the clan that display the greatness the Uchiha have the potential for!

Who said the Uchiha aren't strong willed? Their wills are just formed through a mix of love and anger.

Their reasoning is boring.
Many of the characters in Narutoverse went through lot of pain,all of them endured,the Uchiha's crumbled (Itachi is an exception)
I just find that their history is repeating.

And what fun would the story be if everyone just did the same thing in response to pain and struggle? The Uchiha didn't crumble under pain. Instead of just swallowing it and going after something different and acting like they never had pain unless they need it for some convenient speech, they actually decided to do something about their pain.

Well, because someone is not turning the world upside down due to his pain doesn't mean he swallowed it.
And I believe it's shows much greater mental strength to be able to continue your life and try to do something meaningful with it rather to seek revenge everywhere.
No one of them was able to accept their pain, Sasuke still tries to find answers to comfort his guilt for his and his brother's mistakes.Madara is out of place because he can't accept defeat and move on and Obito is depending on a dream to make his life bearable.
All of them got lost in their pain and instead of learning from their mistakes the make the same again.The only one who was an exception was Itachi.The others seem to have the same personality,reasoning,logic etc,etc.
that's what I find boring.They are the same.I would prefer if their stories were a little different.

Uchihas have a reason to be angry. People only hate them because the main character has the will of fire.

The only Uchiha I like are Madara and Itachi. The others can pretty much go to hell.
