Opinions on Sakura?

She's just a weaker version of Tsunade except she has no backstory. She's also has a penchant for abuse and cries every third panel. Definitely not Kishi's greatest work.

My biggest qualm with her is how she's such a judgmental asswipe. Doesn't allow Naruto and Konohamaru to be themselves without getting punched, she's got this uppity complex for no real reason, her dialogue is some of the worst we've seen, she has no resolve as a person or a ninja, and her entire persona resolves around waiting for some Uchiha babybatter.

I wouldn't say I hate her, though. I just ignore her completely since she's so irrelevant.

Friend or lover it doesn't matter, mostly all of her development/obstacles was with Sasuke, she has no obstacles/goals besides her love life, ad that's not good espically as a main character, you can't even consider her wanting team 7 to be together a goal, naruto and kakashi want the same thing, tsunde probably wants the same thing, hell shizune probably wants the same thing, that's just a sorry excuse as goal tbh, that's just like if you're long life goal was to make you're friend happy, its preety stupid

^^ end of story on the thread. There isn't a female character in the manga that you can say is developed as NAruto and Sasuke.

Hell even side characters get more time than Sakura.. you know you suck ass as writer when you are giving your side characters more time than one of your main characters. All it shows is, you are either afraid she might end looking stronger than her male counterparts.. or you just can't write shit about her.. done dude. All this asspulling in the manga happens because he constantly ignores characters like Sakura.

Even though you are having a discussion with Drake.. its annoying to see you blindly ignore the points hes making.

1. No her character isn't dependent on Sasuke
2. Her goal is to be on equal-footing with Naruto and SAsuke
3. Her goal is to keep NAruto safe, and then retrieve sasuke from the darkness (its been constantly shown she'd pick NAruto over Sasuke if she had to choose a side).
4. Wanting team 7 together, isn't a goal because multiple people have it? wtf.... World peace isn't my goal because other people have it?

Obstacles:
- Madara/KAguya/Akatsuki/Naruto/Orochimaru/Sasuke << all are obstacles in front of her.

I think considering her skills as a medical shinobi she's brilliant. She's quite an intellectual character but takeaway her her intelligence and her medical skills I don't think she has much going for her but thats just IMO

How is striving to bring peace to the ninja world not a goal?

Even Sasuke has those same goals, he wants to bring peace through his own methods and be a Kage. You can't surmise it just like that.

She is an undeveloped character, She should have awakened her Seal in the fight against Sasori, with that she could have been a heavy support in the future fights. Developing her character more than right now.

You live you're own life, just like for naruto, he wants sasuke to come back to the village, but eventually if sasuke never wanted to go back and wanted to stay evil, when it all comes down to it, he would have to let him go and that's not even his main goal, everyone wanted sasuke to come back, is that their goal?, no, theirs a diffrence between something that you want and a goal
