Opening the gates

Would opening the 8 gates break any genjutsu cast on the user? Lets say a person who is under a genjutsu opened a gate maybe 2nd or 3rd so would the genjutsu break? What about stronger ones like KA, Tsukuyomi or anything else like Kurama genjutsu (from fillers: it was the epitome of genjutsu shown in NV)

Prevent maybe. But if they're in a genjutsu they wouldn't be able to activate it while trapped to break out.

Well, opening the Gates causes pain, doesn't it? I mean, the fourth Gate is called "the Gate of Pain". So it would break at least some genjutsu (like how Shikamaru broke his finger to snap himself out of Tayuya's).

Technically yes because that surge of chakra would disrupt yours and thats how they explained to get out of genjutsu. Whats kurama genjutsu

well in one of the filler arcs a girl belonging to a clan called Kurama clan was shown...her powers were too OP...sad it wasn't cannon but that genjutsu could actually cause physical harm
