This is why Kakashi could never turn off the Sharingan he received from Obito, hence why he only gained both Sharingan eyes when Soul-Obito went inside of him. He gave Kakashi this "unique chakra" that would only activate the Kamui-Based Mangekyo. Therefore, when Obito's presence is gone, he will not be able to activate it again.

What you're saying is true. Kakashi WON'T get to keep obito's sharringan, everything is pointing out to that. Even obito himself said it will expire.

You're right on one thing. He has Obito's eyes or body, or however you want to explain it. Though its temporary, and I never mentioned Obito gave him his "eyes". I said his "soul" or "chakra" ...etc., Check back aswell.

Actually Tobirama revealed the theory on how the SHARINGAN awakens, but he progressed forward to Mangekyo soon after, so its understandable why you had mix-matched information. But yes, Kakashi was given a fully activated 3 Tomoe/Mangekyo. He cannot deactive it because he doesn't meet the standards for such features, however because he unlocked Mangekyo with that fateful "event" he was able to activate and re-active it, but never the Sharingan. My thoughts of course.

EDIT; This might not be important but maybe it is. Remember how Madara told Obito how he almost escaped death by "slipping" through the boulder. Hmm, what if ... ? I'll let your mind wander on this one.
