Opening 18 to be the final Shippuden opening?

Do you think this will be the final opening for part 2? (Not counting Boruto obviously)

I don't want it to be because it sucks, but I think it might be for the content in the OP...

1. Sasuke and Naruto memories from different time periods
2. Kakashi & Obito memories
3. Showing of the dead characters
4. Showed the Kage's & subordinates
5. Kaguya & Madara spoiler
6. I get the feeling it's more of a "wrap up" opening instead of a "filler" opening
7. There will not be another opening for 6 months if they follow the schedule

8.A lot of Naruto's star animators worked on this opening , more than usual

At the rate the anime is progressing, there will likely be one more opening. Besides, I can see this being an opening for a filler arc. Sure, there's a lot of sentiment in regards to the characters shown, but at the same time what this opening is showing are all of the side characters chasing their memories. People may be reading to much into the visuals, it could literally just mean that this is going to be an entire season of Tsukuyomi filler.

EDIT: Also, there's still that [very likely] rumor that SP is planning one final filler arc right in the middle of the Kaguya fight. The rumor is that the filler arc will be all about the Sage of the Six path's and his story, so that could easily be another 12 episodes or more.

Yes they ave done it quite a few times, off the top of my head openings 3, 4, and 5 had some animation replaced to fit the current arc. And I'm sure there were a couple more, but I can't think of them.

I agree there is a nostalgic feel to the opening what with all the dead characters, etc.

If they stop b*llshitting with the fillers and compress the remaining action packed episodes within the period an opening changes. Lol

They have so much room for filler that I doubt it. You have Sasuke's trial, Neji's funeral, and a massive time skip between 699 and 700. They'll milk it, like they did the genjutsu dreams.

I just realized in the opening when Naruto (and others) were catching the blue light(?), it may be a reference to the first ending of the original Naruto where Naruto tries to capture the blue butterfly (and the beginning the background looks like the blue light in the current opening).

Not gonna lie, I believe the new opening will be the Infinite Filleryomi arc solely because there's literally 1 Spoiler in this opening (Kaguya stabbing madara) and it doesn't feel like the final opening cause if that were to be the case then there should've been Naruto vs Sasuke closure in this opening which it didn't occurred.

This isn't the first time where an openings with rarely any spoilers are based on the filler arcs if we look back at their track record, they did the same thing with Opening 3, 4 V2, 8, and 10.

Remember how Opening 8 went out??

There's still 23 chapters left, so probably around 12 episodes if they go at the usual pace of 2 chapters per episode. Except for the final episode which will likely only cover chapter 700. I'm hoping for some nice filler action for Naruto vs Sasuke too, since the good animators have returned.

I heard there's gonna be Ootsutsuki filler arc during Kaguya fight so its pretty apparent that they are gonna stretched out the entire season which is possibly the next and final season with brand new opening. Of course there's no deny that naruto vs sasuke fight will be extended so it's defiantly these fillers which I've explained above will fill up the 2nd half of the proportion to make up 25 episodes
