With winter break on the 23rd , I have a lot of free time upcoming. I would like to use some of this excess time honing my battle skills.

- Inside the hideout where Sasori fought Chiyo and Sakura

- Will be using my newly approved Pharaoh Atemu bio (Need to replace the link in the sig)
- No official time limit, but I would like it if both of us managed to reply within 5 days.
- We are only allowed to use a single element (I have chosen lightning)
- Over time or after a random duration has ensued. We might get an additional element to use (not sure yet)

It was at the hideout he entered that Manasseth found the person he got paid to capture, dead or alive. He felt somewhat rude to intrude without permission but still avoided to reveal his feelings. Money doesn't grow on trees and he had to get much money some way or another without becoming a public enemy. In order to reduce the risk of getting attacked while delivering him to those who made the "wanted poster", Manasseth decides to damage the guy first.

I hope you don't mind if I intrude this hideout to capture you.

He jokingly said that, then performed a Doton technique: Manasseth manipulated the soil in four directions around the young man's current location (your front-right, front-left, back-right and back-left) to form long spikes that all suddenly erupt diagonally from the ground in an attempt to skew the man's chest area. In the same timeframe he also took out an explosive tagged kunai, which he threw in an upward angle so that it would fall down upon the young man's current location.

An opponent who wanted to capture him, certainly wouldn't be the first time. Atemu seemed to be wanted, most of the time it was by women but sadly the attraction extended to men as well much to his displeasure. Upon his opponents initial statement the ground around Atem began to condense and shift in shape to that of large spikes, with the rumbling sensation all around him Atem chose to create a plasma like barrier around him that would easily defend against the earthen assault. Atemu then quickly notices the kunai with the paper bomb attached. Choosing to use it to his advantage Atem threw a single kunai to intercept it, aimed at the paper bomb itself it would proceed to cling it to the ceiling in a position above his opponent. Upon pinning it to the ceiling it would detonate causing a small portion of the ceiling to break and cause it to fall on top of his opponent in the form of chunks of rock and debree. However this was but a side attraction as immediately after throwing the kunia Atemu would proceed to release his lightning chakra in the form of an electrical surge though the ground, mean to paralyze his opponent. Upon releasing the surge using the ground as a medium Atemu addressed his opponent briefly.

Regardless of whether the opponent chooses to accept or not. It is only common courtesy, that you declare a duel before attacking.

Description: The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defence which protects them from incoming attacks, even from something as wide-ranged as the Quicksand Waterfall Flow. However the user cannot use other techniques besides lightning release or physical based techniques while sustaining the technique. The user can rush at their opponents even if the barrier is active and use it to ram against them. The shield can be used offensively, by discharging the electricity in the direction of their choice in a wave resulting in using the energy of the barrier and ending its effects.
Note: Technique remains active for 3 turns.

(Raiton: Chidori Nagashi) - Lightning Release: One Thousand Birds Current

Description: This jutsu allows the user to generate non-focused electricity from their body. It can be used as an omnidirectional attack or be channeled through weapons, the ground or other conductive mediums. Because the electricity isn't focused, it doesn't kill on contact, instead it has great numbing and paralyzing effects. To channel Nagashi through a medium, the user needs to focus the technique into one of his hands which will then be put in contact with the medium and can only choose to either do a widespread attack throughout his whole body or to channel it into something; he cannot achieve both usages at the same time. Despite not having much destructive or damaging properties, Nagashi can be used to destroy low rank earthen and wooden structures and even negate chakra on the ground to stop high ranked earth and wood techniques. It has also been noted that Lightning Specialists that have mastered Lightning to the highest degree can resist total paralyzation, although they still feel the pain and numbing effects.
Note: Paralyzation lasts 1 turn if sucessful but is ineffective against bios who have a primary Lightning Specialty

The wanted man defended well against the spikes, then used the incoming explosive tag against Mana himself by sending it to the ceiling above Mana. As the explosion occurred, Mana glared a moment toward the source of sound then back at the wanted man. He could not simply mess with his opponent. In response to the falling chunks of rocks above his location, Mana disengaged backwards in order to evade the falling rocks. He does so by raising a diagonal earthen pillar beneath his feet as he also jumped. By doing so, he would be at long range from his opponent and at safe distance away from the chunks of rocks (and Nagashi if you still choose to use it). He remains airborne for some time before landing on ground again.

Description: The user does 2 handseals (Ram → Snake) and creates an opening within the sky, which drips down onto the opponent a large amount of sticky mud (in all similar to that of Swamp of the Underworld Technique), covering them. The mud is very heavy and thick as well as adhesive, making it impossible to move if caught and easily crushing an enemy underneath. It’s normally followed up by Lightning release: sixteen pillar bind to create a giant oven around the opponent and then using Fire release: Firing biscuit technique to ignite the oven, hardening the mud and immobilizing the enemy target.

In regards to TF I think the nagashi would hit you before you preformed the jutsu, The reasoning being I listed I preformed the nagashi immediately after I "threw" the kunai, However you only list countering after the ceiling begins to crumble. I think during that time the nagashi would have been able to reach and paralyze you. Not that it matters though, we will continue as you mentioned. This is a spar for improvement and practice after all ^^. BTW we can pick up one more element, choose well.

His opponent was able to counter quickly, as he flung himself backwards to a safe range using an earth pillar. A simple but useful tactic one that ensured his safety. He then tried to go on the offensive, as he preformed a hand-seal and caused an opening in the air to release a large amount of mud upon Atemu. A clever move if it were not for his lightning barrier. Either forgetting about it or underestimating its power proved to be the mistake in the move. As the barrier easily destroyed the mud upon contact, causing it to remain at a weakened state although only slightly (weak B-rank, lasts one more turn). Atemu seemed to be displeased at the sight of such a weak attack, believing it to be disrespectful. Seeing it as an insult to his skills for his opponent to believe such a basic attack could defeat him. Despite this Atemu wanted his opponent to showcase more, he seemed to be in the mood for a duel. Thus as he did a single hand-seal, his opponent would find himself entrapped in a large oven like structure. With his opponent restrained, Atem took the opportunity to create two clones of himself, one on his left side (Yugi) and one on his right side (Yami).

Yugi "Whats going on Pharaoh?"

Yami "We are obviously being summoned for a duel"

Indeed Yami, I request that you two lend me you're strength

With that being said both Yugi and Yami moved forward with a goo amount of space between them creating a somewhat triangular formation with Atem remaining back.

It is often used after Earth Release: Mud Fall to cover the enemy target in mud and then follow up with using Fire release: Firing Biscuit, creating flames in the oven to roast and harden the mud, immobilizing the enemy.

No pillar seemed to emerge from underneath him or actually attempt to harm him so he focused on delivering a direct jutsu at Atemu instead of dealing with the pillars. Much like his previous mud technique, Mana slams his hands on the ground to summon a great amount of water 10 meters above and around Atemu's lastly seen location (or just underneath the hideout's ceiling if it's shorter than 10 meters) to fall down upon him. The water was summoned a bit before Atemu's jutsu blocked Mana's view of the hideout's ceiling. This water's purpose was to disorient Atemu and create a water source, but also to electrify Atemu if water did touch the lightning shield while Atemu was inside. Pillars blocked the water from reaching Mana.

(Suiton: Haran Banshō) - Water Release: Stormy Blockade

While inside the earth, the user cannot make handseals and can only use Earth techniques below C-Rank. If he tries to do a higher ranked technique, he'll disrupt the Hiding like a mole technique and be left crushed.
