was sent on a mission to assassin a certain somebody, a famed Jinchuriiki of the Sand, GAARA. Initially his plan was to ambush Gaara as he left the sand village on a mission but due to the high security he had, Rufus had to hold off on the assault. As a result, Rufus tailed him out of the village waiting for the perfect opportunity to capitalize and now the moment has come. Gaara's comrades had left him in order to carry out some task. Seeing this as the perfect opportunity, Rufus decides to reveal himself. He knew that sneak attacks wouldn't work on Gaara, because of the great sand sheild. To reveal his presence he throws a chakra channeled kunai near Gaara's feet. "Gaara of the Sand, it's a pleasure to meet you." Rufus bows at his opponent, showing a sign of respect. "Sadly, only the memory of you will live on here forth"

Rufus then readies himself, distanced at long range from his target.Without hesitation, he charges towards Gaara taking out 4 kunais in the process, i.e; two on each hand. He then crosses his arms across his chest and launches them towards Gaara to test the speed of his sand sheilds. One kunai is aimed at Gaara's throat, the other are aimed at Gaara's chest. A peculiar thing to note was all of the 4 kunais were tagged with explosive tags, wrapped around it's handle. Upon entering mid-range, Rufus stays more on guard readying himself for a counter.

As gaara saw kid throwing kunai's He smirked a little and gathers suna chakra channeling it into gourd and releasing sand creating sand clould and flew upwards deflecting kunai's. After that He looked arms crossed towards his enemy.

He knew Gaara would use the sand to his aid, in fact Rufus was betting on it. As Gaara raises himself of the ground(now Rufus is mid-range from Gaara), Rufus smirks as he slamms both his palms together, materializing water right underneath the floating sand and exploding it, splashing water all over the sand. The sand will absorb the water making it more heavier than it used to be. Now being more heavier than it used to be, Gaara would be unable to keep it afloat and would crash down to the ground. As a quick follow up, he pushes himself of the ground with his left foot, leaning slightly towards his right side. In mid-air, Rufus spin downwards extending his right leg outwards, releasing a crescent shaped wave of water towards the fazed sand user. The water wave would crash on Gaara and knock him back as he is falling. Rufus lands on the ground in a crouched manner in order to absorb the force of his fall. He slowly stands up while speaking his mind, "The information I had, said nothing about you being deaf..or are you on of those moody guys?"

Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated and exhaled as a thin yet incredibly fast jet of flames that spread across the ground as it runs towards the enemy. Its temperature is such that it easily melts the ground as it travels and can reduce an enemy to ash.

Meanwhile gaara gathers Doton chakra and send it into ground creating sharp Earth spikes emerging from the ground and piercing Enemy completely.

Rufus was surprised at Gaara spewing fire towards him. The info on his letter carried no information about Gaara being a Fire Style user. "That's surprising..". Rufus firmly grips his right leg onto the ground and side steps a bit to the left using his left leg. A pillar of earth quickly erupts underneath Rufus's right leg at an angle of 60 degrees. Using the rising pillar as a propeller, Rufus soars into the air, to his left. A point to note is that while Gaara is releasing the flaming stream, his vision of Rufus is clouded, making him unable to track Rufus's actions. Whilst pulling of this maneuver, Rufus arches his right hand back and lunges it forward releasing two shuriken which arcs their way towards the location of Gaara. Note that the shurikens won't be blocked by the fire and they'd strike Gaara's right side preferably his shoulder and right kidney section. As Rufus lands on the ground, he slides across the ground, creating a small dust cloud. Rufus retains his posture and swings his right hand to his side, clearing off the dust. "Gaara, you sure are surprsing.." Rufus stoms his foot on the ground making an earthen cane erupt form the ground. He swings the cane, reluctantly and points an edge towards your face. One side of the cane is a sharp end and it is about 1.5m long.

After gaara saw sensed that Kunai's were making it's way towards him he felt that Gaara were using doton technique as well after that gaara quickly gathers suna chakra and turns himself into sand and dodged all attacks, After he dodged it he traveled In the air and stand's on his sand cloud Levitating and standing Long range.

Description: As an application of advanced fire manipulation, the user begins by channelling his fire chakra into the ground. The causes a countless rose flowers made of fire (6 inches high) to erupt from the ground. The crimson red flowers look like real roses, and as such, can't be identified as something made of chakra, unless someone observes it carefully. The flowers when they erupt, will burn anyone at the area of contact before blooming. The user when he wishes, can form a single handseal to make the flowers face the opponent before firing a stream of fire from its centre, that has the ability to evaporate small bodies of water if all the flowers fire together. The fire will burn the opponent, before consuming him entirely.
Note:
- Can only be used twice, with a break of two turns in between use.
- Once the flowers have erupted, the user needs to use the stream of fire within 3 turns, or else it disappears.
-If the user uses the stream of fire in the same turn that the flowers erupted, it will count as the same move. If not, it is considered as another move.
- No techniques above S rank in the same or next turn.

Rufus now being surrounded by the flowers made of fire, 15 to be exact had to think quickly. He knew he couldn't take them head on. Rufus knew he can't take an aerial route like before,as he had no time to escape the blast range. Rufus quickly crouches placing both his palms on the ground. He noticed a vital trait that the fire flowers were pointing at him. "That's it.." Just as the fire flowers are about to release the flaming stream, Rufus makes 15 pillars of earth rise under each of the fire roses.The upper surface of the pillars is angled in such a way that, the flowers are made to point into the sky i.e they are having a sloping face. This causes the fire stream to be launched into the sky, where they super heat the atmosphere. Since it all happened too quick, Gaara wouldn't be able to change the direction of the flowers in order to make it strike Rufus. As the fire burns above, Rufus bolts towards the fazed Gaara with his staff in his right hand.

The lightning in the user's palm sounds like birds chirping, hence the name, and allows the user to perform high grade cutting damage or high penetration piercing thrusts.
Note: Someone who mastered lightning release can perform chidori with just the Ox hand seal.

Why the face palm? Care to explain.

As Rufus's runs across towards Gaara, he notices that he isn't getting much of a foot hold at the moment. Instinctively, Rufus arches his right shoulder back wards whilst releasing water from both his feet like a wave that sweeps across the ground. Rufus releases his staff aiming to pierce Gaara's abdomen clean through, making him unable to follow up with a technique. Just as a note, if you do the ox seal, the spear would pierce you. The water released from Rufus's foot heavily dampens the sand, making the sand molecules cling to one another and float not loose. With a quick follow up, Rufus creates a small water blast behind Gaara making him tumble forward, hurting him and soaking him in water in the process.
