Akari's mind pondered the type of gentleman who was standing before her. Just from his appearance, she could tell he was toned, a sign of good discipline. Perhaps a taijutsu expert, in her eyes. Someone she could seek guidance from in the future, seeing as martial arts was not one of her strong suits. But it was only for a brief moment. This man opted for her advertisement to a friendly spar, and in tow, she would treat him as such.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Akari Ibusaki, pleased to make your acquaintance!" She lightly bowed, before taking on a more battle ready stance. Her feet positioned in a way that would not allow her to be knocked over so easily, tunic covering her hands, and therefore, her intentions.
The young Yamanaka began her first array of attacks with something simple that could be easily countered. Wind chakra swelled in her lungs as she burst out a gale towards the ground between the two combatants. In doing so, a dust storm was raised between the two, obscuring their vision of each other. This would only prove to be a minor setback for the two, as Akari had another plan of attack.
Her movements clouded, she raised her right arm towards the last position of the gentleman before her. She concentrated Earth chakra throughout her body this time, manifesting small stones. With her control, the girl fires the stones through the dust cloud and towards the man, wondering how he would react.
Akari was rusty, not having engaged in battle for quite some time. But she was smart and could adapt to many situations using her own ninjutsu.

Kirin stood before the young woman, actively listening upon her introduction. With a slight bow and a hand placed across his chest he would respond in kind. "Greetings Akari Ibusaki, my name is Kirin, thank you for accepting me as you sparring partner today, let us enjoy ourselves and as you would say, de-rust, was it?" Upon finishing his introduction, he would take a basic combat stance, legs positioned shoulder width and knees slightly bent. his right arm behind his back and his left arm outstretched with an open palm. His eyes transitioning into the Byakugan passively as they readied themselves

Description: The kekkei genkai intrinsic to both the Hyūga and Ōtsutsuki clans—descendants of Kaguya Ōtsutsuki. Those who possess this dōjutsu have it manifested as eyes with featureless white irides and no visible pupils. And when activated, the pupils become more distinct and the veins near their temples bulge. To activate the dōjutsu, Hyuga but not Ōtsutsuki clan members are initially obliged to use a rather long and specific sequence of handseals: Horse → Tiger → Boar → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar → Snake. But once activated, the dōjutsu user is endowed with a range of skills.
To start, an activated Byakugan gives the user a near 360º diameter field of vision bar one blind spot at the back of the neck, above the first thoracic vertebra. Its vision can penetrate through any solid objects or obstructions, and likewise remains unaffected by blinding interferences. But that being said, certain barriers and the like may distort its perception. In addition, it is able to follow high-speed movements, which enables those with this dōjutsu to analyze their foes' actions and better react to them. The Byakugan is also able to see chakra to a higher degree than the Sharingan and ergo, identify where a person's chakra signature originates from. Beyond that, it can discern certain types of clones from the real person. And its ability to see chakra is in fact so acute that those who possess this dōjutsu are even able to see the chakra pathway system and the 361 tenketsu that comprise it. The Hyūga clan has gone so far as to develop their unique Gentle Fist style in order to capitalize on this particular ability.
Note: Hyuga clan bios of at least Jonin rank become able to passively activate their dōjutsu upon two weeks having passed since Gentle Fist training concluded. Ōtsutsuki bios never need to expend a move in order to activate it.
Note: While traversing the NW, bios with activated Byakugan are able to see up to two 2 adjacent landmarks away while those of sage rank can see as far as three away, but this doesn't extend beyond an ocean landmark.
With his Byakugan active, Kirin would see the flow of Akari's chakra as she releases her wind jutsu toward the ground, dust picking up and flowing in between them. Normally an issue for one without the Byakugan, Kirin could see Akari following up with an earth based technique. A clever combination, break eye sight and then attack in the chaos. However, Kirin could tell that her earth was stronger then even his own, more refined. In response he would make a single hand seal and send out his chakra into the ground, making it shake with a tremor that would throw off Akari's aim.

Kirin would then begin moving, running to his left (your right) in a wide arc, he wouldn't close the distance just yet remaining mid range, he needed to gather some more intel on Akari's capabilites. He would perform a single hand seal and then send his own rock pellets toward her, aiming for her elbows and shoulders.

It was unfortunate what had unfolded since Akari's attack went off. At the very moment of her dust cloud, she barely caught a glimpse of the gentleman's eyes changing form: devoid of pupils, and veins bulging from his face. The clear sign of the Byakugan. Admittedly, Akari wasn't too familiar with his ocular prowess, but she had heard about the eyes from stories of old. The basics of how one with those eyes could see the chakra flowing through someone's body with complete precision. Despite the man's kind demeanor, this technique concerned her.
Out of nowhere, Akari could feel the ground trembling beneath her. An earthquake? Perhaps his technique? She was unsure, but taking a quick look at her surroundings, she could perceive that the earth shaking was very limited to her location. Luckily, her lower center of gravity thanks to her previous battle stance prevented her from completely tumbling over. Despite this, she pricked herself on a small branch sticking out of her satchel, a common herb she had picked prior to this event. "Ack!" She yelped.
Fortunately, Kirin decided to restore their line of sight with his own running arc towards Akari's right side. He formed a single seal, much like the technique she had previously used. Was Kirin also adept in Earth Release? Akari had no time to ponder her thoughts; she quickly regained her composure from the twig that prodded her as more chakra molded within her body. Another earth technique, something the young girl truly specialised in. A thin wall was erected between the two combatants, once again obscuring their vision of each other, or at the very least, Akari's vision of Kirin. However, this wasn't the only plan, the wall was made with the intention to crumble with enough force, which would only limit their vision of one another for the moment until the techniques collided.
"Very nice, Kirin-san!" Akari cheered, clearly impressed with his skill. She turned her body, casually shaking her pricked hand of any residue of pain. "I hope you're ready for this." She said, words practicially dripping with her resolve. The girl's hands formed another seal, unique to those with a specific skillset, aimed directly at the boy behind the crumbling wall. A technique that would rid Kirin of any control of his own body.
At this moment, he may have felt powerless, trapped in a mannequin.
Nevertheless, Akari continued her assault; with her own spiritual power, she would be able to dim the lights of the Byakugan in Kirin, with a premature ending to his technique. The girl held her technique, curious about what he might do next. She smiled with a hint of resolve.

(Shinranshin no Jutsu ) - Mind Body Disturbance Technique

Description: A ninjutsu where one sends their chakra into the subject's nervous system, thus gaining complete control of the target's body. Those caught in the technique will fall completely under the user's control, as their bodies become disconnected from their will. The difference between this and the Mind Body Switch Technique is that the caster doesn't project their consciousness into the target's body. Situations of numerical superiority for the adversary are precisely where this technique, which freely manipulates human beings, will display its efficiency, by getting enemies to turn on one another. Control can be exerted even from long distances. At a minimum, this technique allows for the user to manipulate the body of the target to perform non-chakra oriented movements and actions. Yamanaka with considerable strength over their opponent can force targets to use chakra and techniques through force of will. With this technique the user can issue any command from killing a teammate, releasing a jutsu, revealing secrets, etc. The limitation to this technique is that the user cannot order the victim to kill themselves or cause otherwise fatal injuries.
Note: Against opponents or otherwise unwilling participants that are of higher rank than the Yamanaka, the user can only force non-chakra related actions such as taijutsu. For equal ranked opponents, the user can force opponents to release active techniques such as modes, summons, and clones, though cannot force their hand at casting techniques. Against weaker opponents, the user can compel the use of other ninjutsu and other chakra based techniques.
Note: This technique lasts 6 turns unless broken prior. While utilizing this technique, the user becomes incapable of utilizing techniques above A-rank or advanced ninjutsu such as Fuin, Medical, Y-Y, etc for three turns. After complete control over the user they are capable of using their techniques S-rank and below.
Note: This technique requires a cool down equivalent to the number of turns it was sustained.
