I notice an figure in the forest, yet with uncharacteristic speed, I dart out from behind a tree, appearing about 5 meters away directly in front of the Inuzuka, Ling. The Iwagakure forehead protector is wrapped around my forehead. I watch the Inuzuka closely, knowing that he is an extremely dangerous adversary. A cold look of determination is in my eyes. "I'm going to bring Ling back!"
However, in reality I don't make a single sound. I simply place my right hand over my katana, feeling the hilt. The message is clear, I wasn't going to leave unless I was leaving for the afterlife, and Ling was going to be dragged back to Iwa.

Ling sat in the glade of the forest with his Ninken furled on the floor to his right side.
Then, into his vision would flash a man of yellow, distinguished by that relic of a headband that Ling had once belonged to.
He recognised the figure as Minato, one who had been close to him during his Iwagakure days. But now those days had passed, instead replaced by his current view of that little brat wielding a Katana against him.

"Huh?"

Ling would utter the nonsensical words out of both confusion and bewilderment, was this little runt really threatening his sword towards him? Was he just fucking about, or did that piss poor look in his eyes mean that he wished to prove something?
