The afternoon sun shone with it's brightest intensity in Otogakure, as Yamato sat down on a small broken branch, with hands curled up and his face resting on it. It was quite silent, except the occasional chirping of the birds and the sound of crickets. The silence was deadly indeed. He wasn't used to so much of silence, and not seeing any humans around was pretty weird for him too. Still, the expression on his face was one of an emotionless one. All the Root training had done him good. He was waiting for someone to test his skills on. However, he decided to wait. After all, he was a rogue ninja and this village would indeed attract many hunter nins.

Upon recieving his mission from an unknown employer, Carl looks at the flyer, examining the man's facial features, and most of all, the bounty. The man was named, "Yamato", amd he obviously did something to piss someone off, considering the amount of money on his head. Walking throw Otogakure with the flyer in hand, Carl notices a person with dark, brown hair, curled up on a broken branch. Putting the sheet in his back pocket, he cups his hands over his mouth and gives the dude a shout, "HEY! What're you doing?"

As silence befell the dense woodlands, Yamato suddenly heard footsteps, and saw a young kid with a flyer in his hand and a torn, brown cowboy hat on his head. Upon looking at him, the expression on his face changed into one of a surprised one, an expression which rarely wore on his face nowadays. He did nothing but continued looking at his face, as his features became clearer. He was barely about 18 years old. The kid walked toward him, and asked him on why he was here. "So, it begins. But they've sent a kid? Pssh..", he remarked in his mind, as he slowly got up and placed his hands in his pockets, seemingly unnerved. "What business do you have here, lad?"

Taking a good look at the man's face, he notices he has a striking resembalance to the wanted man in the flyer. Witha small chuckle, he comes to a sudden halt, placing his hands behind his back as he leans on the heels of his shoes, slowly swaying back and fourth, "Well, to get to the point, i'm Carl Grimes, your bounty hunter to be exact. I'm here to bring you back to the Leaf, but in all honesty, i'm not in the mood to fight, so, could you perhaps, come along quietly?" he says in a noncholant tone. His eyes dart around the area, looking for any possible surprises and possible escape routes, in case he tried to get away. Finally, his analyzation come to a stop, as he gazes into Yamato's eyes, awaiting a sound answer.

"That's funny, kid. And why should I return to Konoha? Danzo has no authority over me. I'm done with his dastardly methods", he remarked, as his expression turned into one of a serious one. The kid still had his eyes locked on him, as Yamato felt an aura of confidence. An aura which he loved. Finally, he could de-rust himself. He spent almost all his life, in missions, fighting countless shinobi and killing countless of them, for the sake of Leaf. He was tired of the endless cycle of killings. He hesitated a bit, as his opponent was an underage teenager and he wasn't too fond of killing. However, adults or kids, a shinobi was a shinobi. At last, he took a fighting stance, as he placed his right foot back and left foot forward.

Hearing Yamato's answer, a small frown showed itself on Carl's face, even if it was for a split second, you could tell he was slightly upset. With a small sigh, he takes his left hand that remains behind his back, and reaches in his pouch, pulling out a small shuriken. Playing with it between his index finger, and thumb, he flicks his wrist, launching it at upper torso with great precision. Before it hits the man, Carl tugs a thin, black wire of stringe that was tied in the shuriken's hole, pulling it back to him as it wraps around his fingers, "Are you sure about this? I'm sure you have someone that cares about you back home..."

He looked on unnerved, as the kid took out a shuriken and played with it, suddenly launching the shuriken toward him. Not moving from his position, he notices the kid pulling back the shuriken. "So, he's holding back, eh?", he wonders, as a wave of nostalgia rushes through him. "Cares about me? I have no name, no identity, I am nothing. That's what it means being a member of the Anbu Root"..he remarked..
"Come at me kid. Come with killing intent. You can't change my mind", he spoke on, as he waited and watched what the kid would do.

Giving Yamato a small nod followed by the forming of the Tiger seal, he inhales a large amount of air, kneading the chakra within his mouth, he spits a long, dense, thin stream of pressurized water aimed directly at the man's left leg, just two inches above the kneecap. With that done, he takes the shuriken that was then wrapped around his fingers, and breathes a large amount of air on it's edges, sharpening it for more lethal results. Flicking his wrist once again, he hurls the shuriken at the side of his neck, while letting go of the string. "Welp, might as well have some fun, right?"

"Now, that's what I call business", he remarked, as he saw a thin stream of Water approaching him. It was quite fast too. Immediately, he gathered Mokuton chakra and spatially recomposed his chakra to form several small Wooden pillars beneath his feet, as they grew very fast and pushed him upwards, thus preventing him from getting hit from the Water stream. However, it pierced his Wood pillars and destroyed them, as he was in mid-air, as he also missed getting hit from the oncoming shuriken.
He then gathered chakra in his mouth, and after performing a single handseal, he formed several small nails, which he emitted from his mouth like small bullets. The nails went on with high speed and inflicted several small wounds on several thousand points on his body.
As the nails hit him, Yamato landed slowly on the ground. He gathered Mokuton chakra once more, and spatially recomposed his chakra to form four roots of Wood, which impaled Carl, as he was writhing in immense pain, already due to the needles hitting his body, and the wooden roots impaling him on several vital points of his body, crushing him and killing him.

Smirking at the sight of Yamato's counter, he lets out a small, disappointed sigh. Once the nails shrouded in mist reach the area in which he stands, Carl kneads chakra within his lungs, then blows out a medium sized blast of wind, not only blowing back the nails, but also dispersing the small cloud of mist that covers them. "Yeah, next time use a technique a little less obvi-", before he could finish his sentence, four, large wooden roots arise from the ground, specifically directed at his vitals. Without the slightest look of concern, he releases his chakra outward, to form a shield of a plasma-like substance which block the roots before they can make contact. Crouching down, then lunging upward, Carl jumps on a large Oak tree branch directly behind him. From there, he puts his right hand on the tree itself to help him keep his balance, then leaning forward and opening his mouth, he shoots a spear of condensed lightning that heads right for Yamato's left lung. "I don't have to take you back alive, you know that right?"

As the nails are launched at Carl, Yamato looked on in surprise, as the nails were re-directed back at him. However, before they could hit him, he landed safely and the nails barely touch him. A close call. Not bad at all. As the nails were dispersed, he looked on, as Carl jumped aboard a tall tree, and placed his right hand on the tree to balance itself. He saw, as a spear of lightning rushed towards him with great speed.
As it reached midway of him, Yamato essentially performed the same technique, as he released a pretty powerful spear from his mouth, after manipulating his Raiton chakra albeit it was a very high ranked spear, and covered a massive range. His spear collided with Carl's spear and overpowered it, continuing on forward, as a weakened S-Rank technique, piercing mercilessly through his chest and killing him.
