Mist covers the grassy fields making you loose yourself in the pearly white realm
Being unable to see L U is hit by some of the kunai at which point he begins his rotation. He then causes a dust cloud to arise around himself. He then uses clone hidden in the dust to distract L while he changes his location.

L channels chakra to his feet and begins to manipulate the earth creating small pillars under him as to avoid the dust and launch myself in the air to get a better view
