Hmmm this place brings back memories eh Sakura....
Shikamaru stood in the same spot where he forfeited his match against Temari. A mistake he regretted his whole life. If he won that match he wouldn't of had to participated in the whole exam again wasting time and energy. But now he knew what had to be done.
Sorry Saukra but I can't hang around and waste time.
With that being said Shikamaru channels his earth chakra into the ground beneath the two fighters causing the ground to shake violently, resulting in his opponent to fall onto the ground causing some damage.

With his opponent now on the ground he manipulates the ground underneath her causing three spikes of earth to protrude from the ground skewering her gut while the other two are aimed on each side of her in case she somehow misses the first one

Yeah, but this time I'll be fighting too..
Sakura stands 10 meters in front of Shikamaru waiting him to start attacking. suddenly Sakura felt the ground shaking violently under her so she fell on the ground but while she was falling she heard a strange sound of stones rising under her, so she gathered her suiton chakra and turned her body into water. during this 3 stone spikes rose from the ground under her one pierced through her guts, one through her flat chest and the last one passed between her limbs but because she turned her body into water the stone spikes didn't hurt her.
(Suiton: Mizu Kawarimi) - Water Style: Water Replacement
after this Sakura turned back her body to it's previous state while standing 1 meter beside her previous place with the stone spikes at her left hand. after it she gathered her Katon chakra into her lungs then she spit out a stream of flames at Shikamaru hoping that it will fry him.

Noticing the small flames, Shikamaru channels his earth chakra in his mouth and shoots out a mud ball at the flames causing them to disperse as well as travelling towards you attempting to blind you. He then throws a single tagged kunai in an arc motion that is aimed to land directly ontop of your skull.

once Sakura saw the mud ball coming towards her face she made a ball of lightning to go towards the mud ball and once the lightning ball hit the mud ball they neutralized each other.
(Raiton: Raikyu) - Lightning Release: Lightning Ball
as Sakura sees both balls neutralized she releases a stream of rotating wind towards Shikamaru that rushes quickly towards him.
