Terrain: Northern skies lit by a bright velvet aurora, we stand within a clearing covered lightly by melting snow, leaving visible patches of earth.
The twilight faded over the luxurious shimmering curtain of velvet midnight that covered the sky as the rest of the world slept. Slowly, deliberately, in the silence of the darkening grove- the tangle of trees that stretches, unheeding of the world's wishes- a lone pair of feet had made for their own chosen path. Following the stars, smelling the first drops of a coming tempest, breathing the calm, cold air that descended from the tall peaks in the distance. The feet continued, onward through the knee high snow and towards the clearing in which his opponent waited.
"This sword, only to be used in the most honorable ways, is in and of itself an extension of your soul. It is your breath, your will, and the very reputation on which you will stake your pride in the years to come. Together with the wind and howling swirling tempest, you will hone your steel with the intensity of the blazing sun and sharpen your mind with the calm, collected and calculating indifference of the midwinter frost. You will raise yourself to heights unknown when you draw this blade from its sheath, and you will cast the dark back into the hole from whence it came. Remember that when you wield this sword, you represent us, and past. This sword is a weapon born of passion, to win valor and defend that which is yours. It shall be yours and you, and you shall be it. As the warriors have done forever and shall continue until the our kind knows rest. How far had he strayed from that path his masters had set him on? How long had it been since he had forsaken all his hope to the abyss, living only for revenge? Yes, It was too late for him now, but perhaps the young man that stood before him could be saved. The snow whipped past and the wind shrieked, but in that moment,

Description: Keotsu's legendary blade Mythos has been with him through trials and tribulations of all sorts; and in turn, Keotsu has used his strength to help his friends through their own challenges. The strength Keotsu could offer was always limited, though, as so many of his teachings were made with his own blade in mind. This technique allows others to use Mythos, when they normally could not. Because Mythos is tied to Keotsu's soul, he will perform a small ritual with one that Keotsu is incredibly close to: Keotsu will place Mythos in its entirety atop one of his brothers-in-arms' weapons, and coat it in an incredibly thin layer of the Mythril that Mythos is made of. In this action, Keotsu accepts this person into his soul, marking them as someone of great importance to him. This imparts the weapon with all the abilities of Mythos, except for the ability to change shape, the original ability that Mythos possessed in its form of "Mikomi", long, long ago.
*Note: Cannot be used in battle. The purpose of this technique is to allow others to be able to use Mythos.

Description: "The Blade of Heaven...Mythos the Life Sabre. One of the Ten Shinning Weapons." When Keotsu returned to the known continent from his journey to regions unknown, he returned with his blade Mythos in a new form; some secret event took place which reconfigured the blade and created a powerful connection between Keotsu and the sword. The Mythril blade retained its ability to change it's shape, but not its mass when subjected to Keotsu's chakras, as did the scabbard of the weapon, though the two were no longer explicitly linked. A few improvements were noted by Keotsu, though: the blade seemed to resonate better than before, boosting his powers in battle; second, the blade came to reject energies that were foreign to Keotsu - that's to say, for example, if an enemy tried to use Nagashi after grabbing the blade, the energy would stop completely due to the nature of the blade's composition. This particular power comes about from the blade's new found synergy with Keotsu, in an effort to prevent it from being used against him. Retaining all the properties of the metal it was forged from, Mythos is indestructible and will never dull, in any of its forms.
*The user can manipulate the blade’s form during battle at any time, but it costs 35 chakra to do so, and also counts towards one of that turn’s three allotted moves.
*Can only be wielded by Keotsu. When someone else tries to hold the blade, it will reject their chakra and increase its density exponentially, making it too heavy to be lifted. However, it reverts to its original density when Keotsu is holding it.
*While the sword can transform into different types of weapons, like a katana or spear, it is bound by its mass, meaning that the form it takes on has to be within the realms of creating from the same amount of matter.

The northern lights beautifully painted the night sky. Under the moonlight, a young Toshiro trudged gracelessly as he struggled to push through the soft blanket of snow. He walked aimlessly, for what seemed like eternity, until he encountered a man who was overwhelmingly tall. Most notably, his indigo eyes and lengthy silver hair glistened under the moonlight, contributing to his angelic appearance.

Toshiro leered at the opponent's blade. It was quite obvious that a battle would ensue, and confidentially, Toshiro challenged, "Do you really think you can beat me?"
He smirked and readied himself for battle. Strapped to his side was Hyorinmaru, the legendary weapon passed down from generations to generations amongst the Yuki Clan. It was currently held by Toshiro, who intended to use that very blade to slice down the opponent.
Hyourinmaru – Ice Ring

Description: A sword that has been passed down through Yuki clan for ages. It was broken before, in the war where the Yuki Clan almost became extinct. The sword is said to be made out of the heart of a special meteor that fell in the village. The meteor was as cold as ice, and had all the properties of ice. The Yuki Clan took the meteor, and forged a sword out of the core of this heavenly rock. As the sword was formed, it gleamed heavily and continued to send out a soft blue light. The user of this sword gets a +5 damage point boost on every Ice Release jutsu used, as well as slowly freezing anything it comes in contact with. Of course not the wielder, considering it must be one of the Yuki Clan to wield this. The sword also comes with a most secret technique. Once per battle, the user can channel Hyouton chakra through the sword and let a spear extend from it, up till mid range (much like Chidori Eiso). The second way to channel Hyouton chakra through it gives the user the ability to send out a wave of ice from the tip of the sword. (The same as Hitsugaya when he swings his sword in Bleach) This wave can be used as a shield from incoming jutsus.
Note: The spear is formed as rapidly as Chidori Eiso, but can only be used once per battle.
Note: The "Wave of Ice" can only be used twice and defend up to A-rank attacks.

Hmph. Zero had faced overwhelming odds throughout his time, and he'd overcome them all. 'Saving' the young man before him would be a difficult task indeed, but he would have to see it done. Toshiro had no clue who he was, but Zero had been observing him for a long time. Long before he had returned to Iwagakure, before he had even been welcomed into the Akatsuki. He gingerly unsheathed one of Izanagi's blades which immediately adopted a silvery gleam, a characteristic of the mythril material from which Mythos itself was forged of. A thin layer of this gleam covered the entirety of the weapon, granting it the powers of the legendary weapon.
Zero held the blade perpendicular to the ground, and out of habit he mumbled a short silent prayer to himself. He quickly performed four handseals as he channelled earth chakra into the blade before thrusting it into the ground, causing countless earthen swords four feet in length to rise from the ground across the battlefield with their blades facing skyward, leaving only a small area around himself undisturbed. The earthen swords emerged with such devastating force that they skewered Toshiro as they proceeded skyward. The earthen swords then fell back upon the snowy terrain with the blades facing downwards and lodged themselves in the ground due to gravity, leaving him a multitude of weapons at his disposal.

While the swords proceeded upwards Zero would perform a number of handseals and channel his chakra into the sky, causing dark clouds to gather and rain to fall from the heavens. However, this wasn't your normal kind of rain, but a perception ninjutsu that would allow him to detect Keotsu, and bestow upon him an unlimited source from which he could form future techniques. It would be the second time he'd ever attempt to use his hidden ability in battle, but he'd need it if he wanted to emerge victorious.
(Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique

It was certainly an odd sight: a man, praying, in the midst of a battle. Although he was a foe, Toshiro did not want to desecrate this sacred gesture, and instead, he suppressed his desires to ridicule the man with a spiteful comment. The battle truly commenced when the enemy began a string of four hand seals, followed by tremors from the ground, indicating that a technique coming from below was imminent. In quick response, Toshiro would cover his left leg with Sound chakra as he stomped onto the ground, releasing a massive shockwave that traveled through the ground and air omnidirectionally. Needless to say, the immensely powerful sound vibrations would be more than enough to crush swords into smithereens. The attack itself would be weakened only slightly by the Earth techniques, although it was not enough to prevent it from moving outward to Mid-range.
The technique left behind a coating of dust, lingering around the battlefield and hindering the vision's of both shinobi's slightly. Toshiro activated a makeshift sensory ability with his sound chakra, ensuring that the dust would not act as too great of a hindrance.
