They don't need ME...!? They don't need MY help...!? Of cause they do! Without me they're just a bunch of protocol adoring fools! When was the last time they solved a case without my help?! This so called 'police force'...
Quite angry I walked through the main gates of Konoha. I needed to breath some fresh air, away from all that pride and arrogance... My own was more then enough. I needed to calm down and get back to my relaxed, carefree self. So I continued walking through a forrest and tried to get this matter out of my mind.
This is boring... What do I have my 'gift' for if I can't use it to make fun off the police force and prove them wrong in the end?
Observing the area for things I could enjoy I reached the edge of the forrest. As I left the shadow of the trees, the bright sunlight blinded me for a few seconds before I saw the wide grassy field, I was now standing on. I continued to walk a few more steps, when I was sure I heard something rustle in the bushes. Surprised by the sound I turned around and gazed into the forrest. Since I couldn't find anything suspicious I sat down with my back to the forrest.
That noise again... But this time louder, closer...
I jumped to my feet and observed the trees again. "Somebody here?" but no response. Just in case I put my right hand on my katana as I shouted again "You better show yourself mate. For now you just scared me a little but if you continue... Well, you better don't!"

Practicing in the forests away from her village for some space Maren continuously strikes a tree as she tries to move faster and faster, testing the limits of her unimaginable speed. As she drives a kunai into the trunk of the huge tree in front of her she closes her eyes and hears the wind whistle through her ears, and then shouting... Shouting, yet she was sure there was no one around, there was never anybody around here. Maren came to this part of the woods often to train and had never even heard the slightest crunch of a footstep nearby, do trees talk? Has she beaten this still willow to the point that it has gained a voice... desperately pleading for her mercy. No, of course that wasn't it. Using the handle of the kunai as a step she climbs to a high branch in the tree she had previously been so fond of beating and looks off into the bright open field that waits through the darkness of the trees. In the center of the field sits a man, a man whom is quite obviously in some distress. Maren, not being one to pass on an opportunity drops from the tree with an almighty thud, not because she is heavy or badly trained, but because she was begging for him to hear, the unfamiliar forests around him must have been unnerving enough without the sounds of banging and crashing in the distance, the shouting resumes, but this time Maren listens to the voice and is able to easily pick up on every word "You better show yourself mate. For now you just scared me a little but if you continue... Well, you better don't!" not wanting to scare the man too much before the inevitable spar that followed she obliged and stepped gracefully out from the trees to his left, with her pretty girl demeanor and best friendly voice Maren goes on to say;

"Hey! Sorry about the noises, I fell out a tree and banged my head pretty hard... You okay? Sounded like you were having some trouble?!"

There, that should do it she thought, the man would most definitely be on side now and would not expect to be lying in a pool of his own blood in the moments that followed, burying her sadistic bloodthirsty smile beneath her current honest innocent girl look Maren scratches her head and squints occasionally as she hits a 'bruised spot'.

I continued to observe the forrest, then I saw a shadow move between the trees to my left. I stood there motionless, waiting for who or whatever was approaching me. As the shadow left the dimness of the forest I was quite surprised to see what I expected least.
A girl...!?
If I had known her true intentions, I would have been more careful, but when she stepped out from the trees, all innocent, I quickly took my hand off my katana and tried to appear as casual as possible. She then said: "Hey! Sorry about the noises, I fell out a tree and banged my head pretty hard... You okay? Sounded like you were having some trouble?!"
Driven by embarrassment I replied:
"Trouble? No. I just expected someone... more dangerous. That was just a little show to mess with that someone's head... Speaking of head, are you sure yours is allright?"
Although I had the feeling that something about that girl, this whole situation, was odd, I couldn't tell what. So I kept some distance and continued to observe the surrounding and the girl.
That face... That expression... It seems a bit forced, doesn't it? She's just too nice and innocent to be out here, all alone...!
Waiting for her to reply, and maybe find a hint of her motives within her answer, I shoved my hands into my pockets and smiled at her to appear caring. The last thing I could need now was for her to notice my suspicions.

As the man Maren is faced with begins to speak she blanks his voice out... not intentionally, more because the thoughts going around in her head were causing her ears to lack any real power in the current situation. Questioning herself and the way she is going about her current predicament Maren decides against going on with her current innocent little girl act, quite frankly the fact that she'd even considered it in the first place sickened her. If ever her friends back in Iwagakure found out that she had played the innocent card she was that their opinions of her would drop drastically, this was something that she couldn't bear, a tarnished reputation was possibly the worst thing she could suffer. At the point she makes her decision she drops her hand to the hilt of her blade and drops the false smile from her face leaving her pure lips clean of any lies, all that remained on her spotless skin were the slight wrinkles that spurned from the corner of her lips and she smirked menacingly at the man standing in front of her. With her fingers trailing up and down the hilt of her dagger Maren begins to speak...

"Sorry about that, disgraceful really isn't it? How I can come out here and believe that tricking you to your death like that would somehow satisfy me? Don't worry though I have seen the error of my ways and now face you as myself, the girl who had just scared you half out of your mind by simply dropping from a tree. The beautiful serenity that your fear gives me is so calming... anyway, sorry again. Introductions first right?!

I'm Maren Elizabeth of Iwagakure. Also known as Number Six, you may call me what you like however.. this does not bother me.

Also, I will apologize for the third time as I heard absolutely nothing that you just said, my mind was in another place. But I'm sure you will forgive me."

As she introduces herself to the stranger Maren dips her head and curtsy's to him as a gesture of kindness. Maren then stands waiting for her opponents answer, this time her mind is clear of any thoughts of regret and she is able to listen to him wholeheartedly.

As I stood there and listened to her I thought she had to be kidding me. But then again it wouldn't have been a regular day if I left the village and nothing weird happened.

"My first day off in ages, no crimes, no criminals... And some little psycho girl wants to kill me? Seems fitting...

I guess your honesty earned you some info about me too. You know I'm not a regular person, right? I tried once and failed. I'm just too unique and interesting. My name is Shawn Spencer and I'm the head psychic of Konohagakure. And right now I'm getting a clear vision..."

I put my right hand up to my eyebrow, made a weird face and said:

"You, crazy lady, did not fall off that tree by accident and more importently this will not be as easy as you may think. I could see through your little act the whole time!"

I put on a proud smile to get rid of the last bits of fear and took a deep breath, calming me down and allowing my brain to work even better. I would have never admitted it in front of her but in a way I was thankful for saving me from my boredom. The fact that I almost got played by her was more than enough motivation to show her she made a mistake in choosing ME!

Maren mimics his movements taking her own hand to her eyebrow and copying his facial expression...

Ha! I've seen my fair share of liars in my time Shawn, and you are not one of the best... but anyway, your move.
Maren returns to her regular stance, feet planted firmly on the ground with her leading leg slightly bent for maximum maneuverability should she need to dodge. She holds one hand up just below head height and the other is lodged firmly on the hilt of her dagger, she watches on carefully as she awaits her opponents opening move in what she hopes will be an encounter worth her time. As she waits she makes sure to keep moving and bounces forwards and backwards slightly to keep her muscles warm.

A bit offended by her poor immitation I listened to Maren's words.

"Didn't you come here to kill me? And now I'm the one to make the first move... I gues you're more impressed by me than you would admit."

I watched maren take her stance. I was completely calm now and focused on every of her movements as minor as they might have been, like allways when situations finally got serious. As she finished I mirrored her movements, taking a similar stance but instead of grabbing a dagger I just kept my right hand at waist height. I also noticed almost instantaniously that she was pretty proficient, though arrogant. Underrating an opponent could kill you and I wanted to use that to my favor.

"It was brave to challange me and since you're cute, though crazy, I'll do you the favor of starting this 'thing'. So... how does that work? I make a move, you make a move and that continues until I win?"

While I was still speaking I took two kunai out of my pouch and threw them in one fluent movement, aiming one at Maren's head and the other at her left leg. Right after that I performed the Snake hand seal and used my doton chakra to make two walls of earth rise, one to her right and the other to her left, trapping the girl in between. Both walls measured 3 meters in hight and 4 in length.

Description: After forming the necessary seal Snake, the user creates two walls of earth and traps their target in between them.

I then performed the hand seals Ram → Boar → Dog → Bird → Hare to make four pillars rise from the ground, that were hidden by the walls I created before and surrounded her. By manipulating my chakra within them I caused the pillars to shoot lightning bolts at Maren. Their caused damage was reduced by the walls of earth (if you didn't destroy them before) but they were still able to bind her.

As the kunai are released from her opponents hand Maren quickly uses her front foot as a spring and steps to her right only to hit a wall. With her options cut off Maren gathers wind chakra throughout her body waiting for the perfect moment to release it. As the kunai come into range she releases the wind chakra from her body and causes a whirlwind to strike up around her body, easily pushing the kunai away. Unbeknownst to Maren the lightning pillars release lightning bolts into her as this is happening, the bolts would destroy the walls on either side of her but would also be vanquished by the wind around her.

Description: This technique utilizes wind chakra into the users sword and then they release a vortex of wind that surrounds the users body and can push away materials covering the users body.

With the wind and lightning dissipated Maren stands untouched in her original spot, with no words she spits out six shots of mud toward her opponent aimed at each shoulder, each knee, one to the stomach and one to the face.

With the mud travelling toward her opponent Maren quickly channels her earth chakra into the ground beneath her opponent and makes it wave like the sea. This subsequently causes him to lose his balance and find it extremely difficult to put any offensive/ defensive maneuver together.

About your wind jutsu... how long does it last? I mean several seconds pass from the moment the kunai come into close range util the completition of my second jutsu. I don't want to argue and I'm not saying it's invalid... I just need to gain experience and knowledge ^_^

As Maren spits out the mud projectiles I quickly raise my right hand that glows in a pale yellow and release a large horn made of lightning bolts from it. The horn expands, destroying the mud as well as hitting Maren.

After that I see some small waves of earth travel across the ground and towards me. So I jump into the air and when the waves enter short range I land, slamming my palm onto the ground and release electricity into the earth around me to negate the effect of the earth technique.

As soon as I release the lightning chakra into the ground I quickly exhale a huge fire ball that moves parallel to the ground and towards Maren. As I do that I throw two more kunai towards her, one aimed at her heart and the other at her left leg. Both kunai are hidden by the large fire ball, following right behind it.

I'd say with a jutsu of that sort it would last as long as the user can continue to feed chakra into the technique (obviously with certain exceptions... I couldn't use it over three turns.) And also I see wind as more of a lingering element, lightning comes and goes very quickly (in a flash ^^) whereas wind as an element and in nature generally tends to stay in the air longer... I hope you'd agree with that.

For future reference, C-rank lightning hits a B-rank earth and they both cancel out ^^ your lightning doesn't continue towards me

With her attacks fought of and with the bright force of fire now facing her Maren forms a single handseal before charging water in her mouth, when she feels she needs to she releases a large ball of water from her mouth, collides with the fire and extinguishes it with a huge thud, the splash of the water and fire connecting would be enough to stop your kunai and leave a small amount of water still travelling at you (Through a cloud of steam which would now be in place of your fire).

With her first bullet travelling Maren keeps the handseal formed and gather more water in her mouth, this time she shoots three smaller water bullets out of her mouth through the wall of steam which would now separate her from her opponent and would thus conceal the bullets further (Whilst the water bullets are inside the steam layer they would heat up and would burn you when they eventually connected).

Then as the last move in her assault Maren claps her hands together and simultaneously releases a powerful surge of wind as her hands collide, the sound of the clap could startle her opponent and cause him to lose focus on the incoming water bullet (you would only be able to see the first one at the moment she claps.) thus leaving less time to react once focus was returned. The wind, travelling faster than the water bullets collides picks up the wall of steam and pushes it towards her opponent keeping the three new water bullets concealed inside of the steam cloud the whole time they are travelling, the wind would also cause the three smaller bullets to pick up speed as it dragged them along with the steam layer.

Description: A simple technique that when the users hands are clapped together, wind is compressed and transformed into a powerful gale. Their speed, power, and ability to wound or even kill are all increased several times.

Yeah, I agree with your description of wind, makes sense ^^

I'm not that sure about the kunai being stopped though... A-Rank fire vs. B-Rank water, so the jutsus should cancel each other out and the water vaporizes. There is no splash or such thing... The water would heat up upon impact and evaporate almost instantaniously, due to the great heat. I don't think that any of the water would continue towards me so I don't see what could stop the kunai

As the steam forms between me and Maren we can't see each other any longer. Still having her position in mind I trow a kunai with an explosive tag attached to it in such an angle that it will approach the girl from above and hit her head. I then hear a clap and realize that steam starts to move towards me, still having enough time to react since the steam was created closer to maren than to me. As that happens I cover my body with earth chakra, that circulates around me and allows my body to take the properties of earth. I then merge into the ground without causing any disruptions in the earth and not leaving a trace of my move. Since we started mid range (I assume 10 meters distance) I travel 20 meters forewards, turn around and silently emerge off the ground behind her, again without causing any noises or disrutions (you can't notice me). At that time the tagged kunai has reached the pinnacle point and proceeds to travel towards Maren's head, acellerating pretty fast, due to gravity.

Description: Using this jutsu, a person can hide underground until they're ready to attack an opponent. By utilizing earth-chakra, the person can stealthily emerge from the ground without disrupting the ground around him. This jutsu can also be used to avoid incoming jutsus.

As I emerge from the earth behind Maren, I perform three handseals and manipulate the ground beneath her feet to restrict my opponent's movement, by wrapping earth around her legs. When my technique immobilized her the tagged kunai is only centimeters away from Maren's head. I immediately form the Snake handseal to detonate it remotely.

Right afterperforming the single hand seal I pressurize fire chakra within my lungs and exhale a stream of fire towards Maren's back, aiming it between her shoulders. The sound of the explosion, caused by the tagged kunai, covers the comparatively quiet fire technique, making it impossible for Maren to hear it approaching.

With the steam now travelling toward her opponent Maren decides to follow up quickly and she therefore runs after the steam making sure not to enter it, after a short time running she doesn't see her opponent and the steam fades therefore she knows he has moved. Unknowing of his position she must protect herself against any attack that may follow (I'm assuming you would just change where you used your attacks since I've moved now). Maren quickly releases a wave of electricity from her body, the wave detonates the kunai just as it enters mid-range leaving enough room between her and the explosion that it simply blows her hair in the wind.

Description: After using a Water Style technique, the user releases a wave of electricity that can electrocute any water within range, electrocuting and knocking back an opponent in contact with the water. When used without a water technique, its power is moderate. The technique can be used extremely quickly, so that it finishes almost in conjunction with the previous jutsu

With the lightning also have cancelled out your earth move Maren is safe to turn to the direction of the explosion, as she turns she lays eyes on her opponent again and decides that he is too dangerous to leave alone, she must put everything she has into this fight and end it quickly. With this thought she quickly throws her hands out in front of her and releases a series of flames which shoot out into the air in an arc eventually dipping down onto her opponent from above.

Watching her opponent carefully Maren looks on and watches her opponents eyes, as the flame shots travel Maren begins running toward her opponent as she draws her dagger. The minute her opponents eyes focus on the shots in the air above her she focuses swift chakra throughout her body and at blinding speeds continues her movement, she runs straight past her opponents right side driving the dagger through his chest as she passes.

Description: After making a single hand seal the user can move at fast speeds through the release of the swift release and then strike their opponent at multiple angles. The jutsu is effective against strength based close-combat Taijutsu users such as Tsunade and Sakura. However sharingan of tomo 3 is capable of reading the movements and can react to the opponents attacks.

With the dagger in his chest her opponent falls to his knees, as he hits the ground the flame shots from before land lighting him on fire and burning him to ashes giving him a proper burial as his ashes are taken by the wind and Maren collects her dagger.

After causing my tagged kunai to explode and defending against my earth technique Maren seems to forget about my stream of fire. Looking into her eyes I notice her serious facial expression as she releases some flame shots. Right after releasing the fire upwards so it would hit me from above, the stream of fire I released previously hits her chest and causes serious burns and pain that again cause her to lose focus. I react immediately by releasig a large sphere of water towards the flame shots, Smothering the fire in mid air.

As I release the water technique I look at my opponent again to see Maren accelerate at insane speed. Without wasting time by thinking too much about my move I release an electric field around me that electrocutes Maren as she makes contact with it. Also it should be almost impossible to evade my defense, considering her immense speed. So as she gets hit by the electric field it shocks her, canceling her attack.

Description: The user surrounds themselves with electricity. The intense electric field protects them by electrocuting anyone who comes into contact with it, but only works for one attack.

The electricity in the air fades quickly, while maren is still vulnerable by running into the electric field. So after releasing the lightning chakra I create seven earth spikes around her. Two of the spikes impale her chest, two each of her legs, two more are directed at her back and the last rises vertically from below maren' feet.

I put my fire before yours as the lightning attack is hella faster than the earth one, so the set up and cooldown of the your earth tech would leave me enough time to release the flame shots through my lightning shield before you've even begun to charge your fire (Fire and lightning have no effect on each other and therefore do not effect each other in anyway).
