Terrain: A small island, surrounded in water with an active volcano on the brink of eruption. The volcano will erupt in 10 posts and will destroy the island, forcing us to move the battle to the water.

On noticing the dark haired girl, Kakuzu quickly performs the ram handseal, the ground around Katniss begins to suck itself in, her own position acting as the epicenter for the jutsu. As the ground sucks itself inward, the heat of the lava begins to increase the severity of the technique, each second making the situation more futile.

As your dragged into the whirlpool of lava, Kakuzu performs a single handseal and exhales a powerful blast of Katon, which begins traveling along floor, the flames growing larger the longer they travel. By the time the flames reach you, both its vertical and horizontal reach have increased enough to engulf you completely.

Description: The user performs the Ram hand seal and causes causes the ground and everything on and around it to be sucked in towards the middle of a large pit, much like the method an antlion uses to catch prey. Upon being dragged to the centre, the victim will then be sucked underground. There the victim, depending on how deep the user makes them sink, will be trapped and/or suffocated. The range of the pit is determined by how much chakra is put into the technique.

Description: The user after performing the required hand seals Rat → Dog → Tiger fires a small fireball that erupts into a giant fire-storm after making contact with a surface, causing widespread destruction to the area. Since the flames travel along the ground, and cover such a wide area this is a difficult technique to evade. When combined with Wind Release: Pressure Damage, this technique is amplified to the point of being able to evaporate a large amount of water in an instant.

Upon seeing the dark figure ahead of her Katniss knows instantly that this situation will not be a pleasant one for her, finding herself in an unfamiliar land covered with the smoldering heats which the volcano nearby gives off. In a way she should fit here perfectly, 'The Girl on Fire' trapped in a world of flame. Before she is able to fully settle herself Katniss is thrown into action as her opponent wastes no time in beginning his assault. The texture of the ground beneath her feet begins to change and she feels herself being sucked down into the floor, unwilling to be beaten this easily Katniss releases an almost instant wave of electricity from her body which cancels the effects of the earth technique, whilst the ground is still she runs to her right and away from the danger before the earth begins to move again.

Description: After using a Water Style technique, the user releases a wave of electricity that can electrocute any water within range, electrocuting and knocking back an opponent in contact with the water. When used without a water technique, its power is moderate. The technique can be used extremely quickly, so that it finishes almost in conjunction with the previous jutsu.

With the speed of her lightning technique Katniss' feet are freed from the earth almost before they have even begun to truely sink. Moving to her right she keeps her eyes on her opponent and notices him form a handseal which in turn sees him firing a small fireball towards her. The moment she sees the small fireball Katniss forms a single handseal and causes a bunch of rock pillars to rise from the ground in front of the fireball, the fire connects with the rocks short range from Kakuzu and thus erupts into a frenzy of huge flames, the flames spread and hold enough presence that the opponent is inflicted with heavy burns from his own attack.

Description: After performing the required hand seals Rat → Horse → Dog → Snake and they then create a large amount of rock pillars from under ground. They can then be controlled to surround their opponent and create a bamboo-like thicket of rock.

As the flames erupt around her opponent Katniss shoots multiple shots of mud in the direction of her opponent, the roaring flames blocking the mud from her opponents view. As the mudshots travel through the flames they would harden and solidify crashing into her opponent at different heights.
