Unalaq was utterly humiliated by his previous defeat in the ninja world and was eager to make himself more proficient in shinobi kumite or hand-to-hand combat. He was too dependant on his jyuken and his byakugan that he decided to test himself and go into battle without them and see how he fairs.

Konohamaru sees the big man is not in good mood but then he clearly see him and says to himself "He is the water chief! I might try sparring with him, I'll learn something"
then he get closer to him. "Yo big guy! wanna help me train? like a spar? " Konohamaru says to Water Chief.

Unalaq notices konohamaru and hears his request for a spar. He sees this as an opportunity to gauge his progress. Before speaking a word he takes the forward horse stance with majority of the weight on the front left leg. He then positions his arms bended slightly before with his hands open in front of him with his right arm guarding his torso.

In a blitz of speed he quicksteps forward while unleashing a quick jab with his left fist, following with a powerful punch to the jaw.

*As soon as Konohamaru hears "lets do this" he got hit by two moves , the punch on his jaw made him fall back 2m. "Ugh ...That hurt" Konohamaru says. Then he stand up and launchs a punch to the right chest then he turns (showing his back) uses his left leg and deliver a kick to the jaw , and then he jumps 1m away.
As konohamaru returns with a punch to the right pectoral muscle or right chest, Unalaq slaps his forearm with his right hand diverting konohamaru's punch causing arm to cross his chest. At the same time Unalaq turns and repositions himself behind konohamaru, thus avoiding his kick with his back facing him before retracting his left arm to strike konohamaru in the back of his head with his elbow.
Unalaq follows after turning his body towards konohamaru's back he extends his right arm with an open hand while taking a small leap off the ground to thrust konohamaru's face to the ground with his entire body weight behind it.
Do you give, young shinobi?
Hearing konohamaru give up, Unalaq raises onto his two feet releasing konohamaru's head from his grasp. With his right hand he lifts konohamaru onto his feet and dust him off.
