Byakuren sat idle, cross-legged facing a doppelganger of himself created through one of the three prior conjured sources of water. There, the two twins sat, in the midst of the hot, sandy plains he'd traveled to in order to record test in efforts to creating a new Suiton technique. "Hmm." He hummed in thought, his water clone returning a gaze of indifference. "This won't work, nor will that. Gah! This may have been a fruitless journey after all!" The elderly man growled, a slight scowl present on his visage, as he struggled to his feet. Upon standing, Byakuren turned to retrace his path, however, a stranger stood before him; a man brandishing blonde hair, and a visor of sorts. Waving at the mysterious man in efforts to signal that he was of no threat, Byakuren waited silently, for some form of friendly return. Spoiler (Mizu Bunshin) - Water Release: Water Clone Type: Supplementary Rank: C Range: Short Chakra: 15 Damage: N/A Description: After performing the Tiger handseal the user creates a clone of themselves made of water. These water clones have 1/10th of the users chakra. These clones are also limited in that they can only travel short range from the user without losing control. When a water clone take enough damage they revert back to normal water. Note: Can only perform up to C-rank Water Release techniques, and requires a water source. (Suiton: Chika Mizu) Water Release: Subterranean Waters Type: Supplementary Rank: B Range: Short-Long Chakra: 20 Damage: N/A Description: Using his own chakra the user can, unbeknownst to his opponent, create a single or multiple water sources within the earth. The water sources can vary in size, depending on the need of the user. The user can create up to 3 separate sources but their size altogether may not exceed the size of a human sized pond. They don't form too deep in the ground, but about a meter or two beneath the surface. They can be used only as a source for other water techniques. Spectra was seeing standing at a good distance away from the other ninja and his replica. Spectra could know which of them was real and which was not through the help of his chakra sensory he had passively activated prior to the meeting. Spectra gazes at the duo before speaking "I've had some training and I wish to practice and have a bit of fun while doing so. Brace yourselves" he says as he instantly exhales fire from his mouth that launches towards the duo but aiming for the real one that wraps around him and burns him severly "let's play" he says with a devilish smile.

I actually already had this typed up, but had to make sure everything I typed was correct etc. Apologies for the late reply, I pray you can overlook it. "I've had some training and I wish to practice and have a bit of fun while doing so. Brace yourselves." The young blonde asserted. Byakuren, in a fit of annoyance found himself in an unfavorable situation. The man he'd so kindly referenced to as being friendly, wanted a battle. For what? Why was it so? It seemed everywhere Byakuren had traveled these past few months, strangers of the world had sought to either test themselves, using Byakuren's own presumed gauge of strength to do so, or to kill the former Mizukage. "Why can't I just be left to my own devices..." Byakuren grumbled inaudibly. Readying himself, as a projectile of fire viciously raced towards him. Swiftly, the old man reacted, slamming his hand into the ground, while kneading chakra into the very same palm. Around him, and his doppelganger, a vortex of water amassed, protecting both men from the incoming flames, while severing line of sight. While still present within the vortex, Byakuren's water clone took advantage of the lack of vision, using the prior created water sources to create a thick mist around the entire field. Nigh instantly, after the formation of the mist, the clone began to weave several swift handseals, channeling its chakra into the air. Rain began to fall, though this wasn't ordinary rain, this rain was linked to Byakuren's senses through chakra, allowing him a vague ability to sense chakra signatures through the contact of rain drops. The vortex then widened, turning into a large wave of water, rushing intently toward the now, blind man's location. Spoiler (Suiton: Suishōha) - Water Style: Water Shock Wave Type: Supplementary/Offensive Rank: C-B Range: Short-Long Chakra: 15-20 Damage: 30-40 Descripton: This technique allows the user after claping their hands together to make a spiralling vortex of water to form around them out of nowhere in a vortex like manner. The vortex then proceeds to cascade into an wave of water that rampages towards the intended target or all around. The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-rank. (Kirigakure no Jutsu) - Hiding in Mist Technique Type: Supplementary Rank: D Range: Short-Long Chakra: 10 Damage: N/A Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu. Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source. (Suiton: Ukojizai no Jutsu) - Water Style: Rain Tiger at Will Technique Type: Supplementary Rank: C Range: Short-Long Chakra: 15 Damage: N/A Description: A perception ninjutsu, allowing one to freely manipulate rain infused with the user's own chakra after waving the Bird → Rat → Ox → Monkey → Rat → Snake handseals. The rain falls from rain clouds, formed with the users own chakra. During this technique, the falling raindrops are closely linked to the users senses. When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it. C rank Suiton > C rank (D rank due to elemental disadvantage) fire = D rank water. Clone uses Hidden Mist & Sensory Rain techniques while both individuals are hidden inside of the vortex. 1/3 water sources remaining. Former vortex cascades into a wave of water that rushes toward Byakuren's opponent. Byakuren: 665-15=650 Byakuren's water clone: 66-10-15=41 ​

Spectra could deduce from Byakuren's words that he wasn't ready for battle but he didn't care less, he wanted the battle and he'd have it "that's too bad but you have no other choice". He saw the water vortex skillfully stop his fire technique and create small mist that blocks vision which Spectra uses to his advantage to make snakes appear from beneath them each and constrict them. As the illusion took place, Spectra could still sense them perfectly despite the mist thanks to his chakra sensory so he throws multiple kunais upwards into mid-air which he instantly sends his chakra into to make them float in air as he dashes at them, the kunais floating behind him. The minute he begins the dash, he orders the snakes constricting the trio to crush them all causing the clones to puff from the mental damage and immobilize Byakuren. Upon entering short range, he stops his dash as the entire floating kunais would launch at him instantly, piercing him badly and causing severe damages.

You failed to counter the D rank Suiton coming at you, therefore you're caught. On another note, the Hidden Mist cancels out your ability to accurately distinguish Byakuren's location through sensory, due to the simple fact his chakra is shrouding the entire area, concealing himself in the abundance of his chakra. This makes both your first, and second move invalid. 1. Because you're unable to put a target in Genjutsu without some form of accurate perception of your intended target's location. You must be registered for see links Casting The next preliminary method is on casting. Going straight into how this applies to NB there are two main components to casting genjutsu that everybody needs to aware of: the requirements to cast genjutsu on a target and the timeframe for targets taking a hold. In order for one to capture another in genjutsu sensory perception of the target is necessary. Ordinarily one uses genjutsu when they can see their target, but this is not the only means. Enhanced senses that allow for the user to pin-point the exact location of a target can be used in the absence of vision i.e enhanced hearing via sound, chakra sensory, other means of sixth sensory perception. If whatever method used to sense your target does not present, with certainty, the knowledge of a target's location it cannot be used to trap opponents in genjutsu. 2. The D rank wave would crash into you because: A. You dashed forward lol. B. You can't freeform escape jutsu. So like I said previously, your move technically is invalid, and your character is hit by Byakuren's D rank Suiton, as well it being my move. I'll resume once you reply to this post.

The problem here is that you're not able to understand my move and how it goes with time frame, I didn't give you the opportunity to use your other moves apart from the first with my move which is why I stated constricting you with the snake binding illusion immediately you formed the vortex which simply implifies that as the vortex forms, you and your clones get constricted by the binding snakes so your clones will not be able to the other moves you planned since they have been constricted in the illusion. So simply say I made my move to interrupt and stop your other moves before they happened.
