Pein starts off the battle with Deva forming handseals and exhaling a huge ball of flame forward. The overwhelming size of the jutsu keeps the other Paths from view as they hurl 20 black rods like spears into the air to come raining down on the foolish challenger, making it difficult to counterattack if the fire was blocked. After throwing their spears, Human and Preta sprint toward him side-by-side, ready for whatever comes next.
