Wunderbar. Okay Nathan my boy. Let's see what you can do these days shall we.

Minato Namikaze looks across the field calmly at the man stood across from him. The wind whispers through the leaves of the trees in the distance. As though it were setting it's lungs free, preparing to howl through the forest they stood in. The man opposite Minato was quite an average build. Lithe, with quite a chiseled jawline and spiky hair. He stood at an equal height to Minato. Turning his head to either side Minato cracked his neck loudly. Placing his right leg forwards slightly so both legs were a shoulders width apart. Minato twists his dominant right leg inwards slightly in an anticlockwise fashion, keeping the shin on a side angle as a protection against low attacks especially groin kicks. His rear leg followed suit also twisting to an anti clockwise angle promoting greater mobility with the rear left heel slightly raised from the floor. Minato continues with his stance adoption by bending both legs slightly at the knee joint. With the rear leg remaining with it's heel off the floor. Coiled as though it were a spring.

To look at from an outside perspective Minato's body shape was looking somewhat more triangular than normal with this position. He continued by raising his left hand upwards in a straight line, flicking a S/T kunai in to each hand he continues clenching his fist he used the closed fist directly below his chin almost touching it. While the elbow was angled in such a way to protect his ribs from harm. Making his motions considerably easier when it came to defending with his non dominant arm. Minato raised his dominant right arm. Keeping the fist loosely closed the kunai held in a reversed grip. Swaying the arm from side to side slightly always keeping it moving left and right. It was angled to be lower than the left held almost in line with his shoulder if not a little lower.
With his body turned slightly sideways, Minato successfully reduces the target area presented to the large individual. Tilting his head slightly sideways and raising his shoulders increases this effect, providing almost no location the opponent could land a direct strike without himself becoming open.

Casting him in a moderately powerful genjutsu that would render him blind, believing himself to be trapped in a pitch black room without a singular source of light.

With the genjutsu in place Minato would waste no time, throwing a singular kunai from his left hand angled in such a fashion that it would raise high in to the air out of the opponents field of vision, with such force that it would drop during the opponents next move most likely. Whilst the kunai in his right hand, was flung directly at the opponents sternum aimed to penetrate his abdomen around the stomach region and the intestines.

Minato finishes his initial assault. By forming a large longsword using his raiton chakra. And applying the seal of the flying thunder god to the sword.

The surrounding area all of a sudden went from light and sunny to pitch black. To John he found that very weird, and it came down to that it may be a genjutsu. So, John grabs out a kunai from his back pocket and and slices the left side of his cheek, the cut isn't too deep but deep enough to release him from the what seemed to be a genjutsu. Light was all around, and no longer in a pitch black room.

That was a little too obvious, really?

Standing there, having a hard time getting used to light again thanks to that annoying genjutsu. John didn't want to take any chances so he send sound chakra to both his lungs and his ears, creating a solar effect so every time he took a breathe the soundwaves would bounce of things telling John where everything is, and as well his ears could now hear pretty much everything. John heard something as soon as he used this technique, something above him he could hear the whistling of sorts due to it falling from the sky. So grabbed out another kunai and threw it directly above him, and once doing that he heard a his kunai and whatever Minato threw connect can fall to both sides of John.

Sneaky.

Next John merely just grabs out about 30 kunai and just begins to throw them 10 at a time until they are all gone.

Using the enhanced hearing, the user is able to know where everything is around them, effectively creating a sonar effect through the rebound and reflection of sound waves. The hearing and the sonar effect is precise enough so that one can effectively use it to substitute one's vision in battle if needed. Despite being very effective, specially if the user has any of his other senses hindered, it also leaves the user vulnerable to sound genjutsu or sound attacks which will be much more drastic in its effects.
