Noticing his opponent across the river he performs several handsigns making it rain and naturally the water level of the river rise. gradually. After this is done he throws two shuriken at each arm followed up with a throwing knife aimed at your head, spinning as if it is a shuriken.

When the rain is obstructed by a chakra belonging to someone the existence of the target can be detected. The rain will keep on falling until the user uses the seal to cancel it.

The sun glistened on the river down below in the large canyon. It was a nice warm sunny day and the site of the canyon was asbolutely beautiful. Down below near the river stood two people, each on separate sides of the river. One appeared to be a maybe a large man in a body suit with his dog companion next to him. The other was a woman with long black silky hair that shined brightly as the sun from above shined against it. Unlike the man she didn't have a body suit but rather very skimpy clothing along with a katana on her left hip and two black leather whips wrapped around her waist. The site of this place amazed her to no end as she has never seen anything like it in her life, but there was no time to take in the wondrous site before her. She was in a fight and the man opposite of her was her opponent. Watching him closely she notices him form a string of hand-seals which after he does so the sun above begins to vanish as dark clouds begin forming in the sky. Large rain clouds. Velvet could see that he is using some sort of rain or water jutsu and she knew exactly how to stop him in his tracks. Without much effort or indication of performing a jutsu the air in the atmosphere begins to heat up to the point where the rain clouds begin to disappear. With the rain clouds gone the bright warm sun comes back out to illuminate the canyon. While she was super-heating the atmosphere she kept an eye on her opponent and watched him throw three tools towards her. Two seemed to be shurikens and another a knife? Maybe a kunai? It mattered not. Taking three kunai's of her own, she does the same and counters the three he had thrown. This causes all six to fall helplessly into the river, and washed away. "Is that all you got?" Velvet looks over at the man with a disappointed look on her face.

Well sorry to disappoint you for starting off the duel in my favor!

Once done shouting this to the attractive woman across the river he finally begins to move towards her along with his ninken landing on the edge of close-range about 20 feet from her.

Okay how about we have some proper fun then!

He then performs three handseals and stomps his right foot sending electricity directly at you before performing another handseal unleashing 3 large demonic figures that charge you and close in just before the electricity before creating a smoke screen blocking your view of where the electricity is going.

Yes, let the best man or woman win. u.u Just a heads up 20 feet is mid range as it falls in the 6-15 meters which is mid range. Short or close range however you wish to call it is 0-5 meters(0-16 feet), Mid range is 6-15 meters(19-49 feet) and Long range is anything above 15 meters(52 feet and above). Also, the lightning jutsu would reach me first before the clones would. You perform the lightning jutsu first and lightning based jutsus are more faster than other jutsus unless stated otherwise. Your clones were made after and clones unless stated other wise have the same speed as the user. So they would remain behind the lightning and only arrive near me after the lightning jutsu has struck. It would be better to use the illusion before an offensive jutsu like the lightning next time. Hope these tip helps you out in the future. ^^ But for this spar I will go along with what you put to keep things moving and fun. ^^

Continuing to observe all his actions and movements along with his pup, she watches as he begins to move forwards towards her direction as his pup moves in and lands short range of her(I guess either to my left or right of me. I will go with to my right. If he lands in front of me he would be hit by your lightning and the clones would turn to smoke on him and not me.) As the dog lands to her right she sees the man string three hand-seals together and releasing an electrical current towards her. Not even a moment after making the electrical current he forms one more hand sign causing three demonic figures to come charging at her. Taking this all in Velvet begins releasing dark chakra out of the seal on her right palm causing the dark chakra to flow over her entire right arm. Her arm now engulfed in dark purple chakra she simply smiles. The moment the demonic figures enter short range but still a good distance away before they reach the point of where they are supposed to turn into smoke, they start losing their form as the chakra that forms them disappears. This causes the clones to vanish without turning into smoke. Just as the clone vanish so does the electrical current that reaches near Velvet. Both of her opponent's attacks were absorbed by the dark chakra that has covered her right arm. "Thanks for the chakra, hun." Velvet smiles at the man. With those now out of the way she extends both arms outwards, her left arm towards the man and her right towards his pup and releases three birds made of lightning from them. One bird is sent out from her right hand towards the pup, and the other two from her left hand towards the man. The birds of lightning are quite special as they are able to follow their targets until they hit them or are destroyed so running away would do no good. And they require no control from the user so Velvet is free to do as she pleases after releasing them. As she releases the birds she begins dashing to her left gaining distances between her and her opponent's pup and the man himself while simultaneously throwing a kunai aimed at each of their heads.

Description: The usage of this technique lies with the user activating one of their Dark Marks, on either of his hands. Upon the activation, it will stay active for four turns. The functional Dark Mark will take the manifestation of dark purple chakra surrounding the user's arm, and will serve as an active Inhaling Maw which automatically absorbs Lightning, Wind and Fire up to A rank, (also other elements depending on the Elemental Strengths & Weaknesses of Dark Release Absorption ability) without the user needing to. Simply put, the user won't bother directing his arm outwards to absorb, but the vivid dark chakra around his arm will do the job for him. Should any absorbable technique come within the short range of the user, it will immediately get absorbed by the dark chakra. This ability can also extract the physical and spiritual energy from chakra infused weapons. The user, however, won't be able to use his releasing ability on the chosen Dark Mark, but the other Dark Mark can still be used.

With the sacrifice of chakra each turn, the user will only be able to absorb up to A rank techniques per turn. The technique will not stop once it has absorbed an A rank technique, but it will simply not be able to absorb anymore during that turn. Can be deactivated at will.

You really are no fun.

Nicor quickly covers the little distance between us and gets behind me. As the birds come towards us he quickly perform the ox handseal just as they are about to strike them and create a wall cancelling out the birds as well as the wall. Following this he creates a clone of lightning appearing to his right side. He then finally notices the shuriken coming at him just in time. He quickly blocks it with his sword.

It had seemed her attacks have failed as he countered them with ease, but what fun would it be if the two of them were taken out just from that? Velvet stops running as she watches all this happen. She was now half way through mid range and that was fine. She had put enough distance between the four of them. Upon stopping her opponent, his pup, and now a clone of him are now charging at her while the real him holds a knife in hand. It seems they plan to rush her with straight force. This made he let out a little laugh. This man was all brawn and no brain. He only keeps charging in without thinking and this would be his downfall. This did disappoint her a little but she knew she could make some fun out of it. As the three of them charge at her Velvet thanks to her mastery over her own kg she forms a single hand-seal and swings her left arm in a left to right horizontal fashion towards the three of them. The moment she swings her arm a massive explosion of dark chakra erupts from under them sending them flying into the air severely injured.

As the technique erupts from Velvets hand he gets on all fours and quickly coats his body in chakra causing a change to his body increasing his speed greatly, physical strength, instincts, and reflexes. By this time the blast has closed in but due to his speed he begins to run forward with his ninken at increased speed allowing him to outrun the horizontal blast closing in to close range within seconds.

The form is best suited for using and supporting the ferocious "hit-and-run" tactics that the clan is well known for, leaving the enemy barely any time to launch a counter attack.

While maintaining his speed towards Velvet he sits up slightly allowing his hands to be avaliable for a few seconds. Using this time he quickly focuses chakra into his hands and claps them together while releasing the chakra creating a large quantity of water to form a vortex in front of him which goes towards Velvet with full force(B-rank). This also blocks Velvets view of him which in turn allows him to ready his next move should not be washed away to mid-range or worse drown.

The size and power of the technique is dictated by the amount of chakra put into the technique, varying from C-rank to B-Rank.

As the man gets on all fours similar to an animal he jolts forwards out of the way from the blast with a new found speed. It shocked Velvet a bit to see this. "So you got some tricks up your sleeve. Good. I was starting to get worried that this was going to end quickly." Just as the man jolts forwards just barely dodging her attack Velvet begins thinking of what to do to counter act his new speed. It was simple. Channeling her chakra into the air causing a powerful gust of wind that picks up all the dust and sand in the canyon. As it picks up the sand and dust it begins to look more and more like a sand/dust storm. With the man running at the speed he is now and at the speed the wind is moving at him, they would collide in a short time where he would be picked up by the wind and thrown around while being blinded by the loose material that has been picked up by the wind. Right after releasing the wind Velvet cancels out her Guardian Angel jutsu on her right arm and raises both arms to release a powerful dark shock wave behind the wind so if he manages to counter the wind he would still have to handle the dark shock wave.

Sensing the danger as the sand filled torrent of wind comes at him he quickly stomps his foot just before it hit releasing a jet of water that slices the gust of wind and sand in half spreading it out around him and his ninken. Just in time to notice Velvet's follow up to the wind. He simply jumps into the air with his sword drawn before stabbing it into the ground causing a pillar of water to appear around the two protecting them from the attack.

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
