Terrain: The middle of a large forest; we start mid-range away from each other

Sitting in a tree branch, Kabuto looked down towards where a person had entered the forest. He had thought he was alone. As the person walked through the forest, Kabuto grinned a very unnerving, evil grin. Looking down towards the person, the dim light through the trees of the forest created a glare over his glasses, the pieces of glass becoming like a solid wall blocking anyone from seeing his eyes. The sight truly was disturbing.
I want this.
Taking a walk through the forest was something Yamato had become accustomed to. The serene environment cleared his head and allowed him to practice his wood techniques in a wooden environment. He continued treading deep into the forest, hands stuffed in his pockets as he strolled towards his favorite spot.

As the man continued to walk, Kabuto became curious. If he were to ever become as strong as he wished, he needed somewhere to start. And this would do nicely.
First, he began by casting a genjutsu on his opponent, in which a large snake began to wrap around the man from behind, slowly getting tighter and tighter, restricting him with such a high degree of realism, the man's mind was fooled into believing that his body could not move, and that his chest was slowly being crushed to a point where breathing would become difficult. After casting the illusion, Kabuto dropped down from the branch as he drew a scalpel, quickly moving through the air so as to land behind the man, his back to the man's back, in a slightly crouched position, though both feet were planted on the ground and he could quickly stand straight up or spin around if need be. Isn't this pleasant? You thought you were simply taking a stroll, didn't you? But now look. Standing up slowly and tilting his head back until it touched the back of the other man's head, Kabuto induced a genjutsu in which the other man's chakra became forcefully separated, causing him severe pain and mental anguish, in addition to a lapse of judgement due to this mental anguish which was normally used as a sort of "truth serum". You fell victim to the power of the snake.

Description: A technique where one follows the opponent, closely matching his or her body's movement, just like a leaf that dances in the air is followed by its shadow. The technique is usually preceded by a swift upper kick that will launch the target into the air. It is mainly used to position an opponent into a vulnerable aerial position. This move by itself is harmless, but it is usable as a stepping stone for a great many powerful techniques like Front Lotus and the Lion Combo. That said, it also has a rather high degree of difficulty.

Yamato began whistling a melodious tune as he plunged deeper into the woods. Many people didn't know this but Yamato was a great singer. He had released a couple of singles and was currently working on his first album with the help of Kirabi. Although it was a part time thing, he still found it interesting to express himself through music. His allowed his thoughts to wander as he strolled, inhaling the arousingly contrasting smell of dead decaying leaves and fresh ones. Nature was truly amazing and never boring and Yamato explored it to the fullest. In the middle of his thoughts, he felt something large crawling up his body. His eyes moved downwards, allowing him to witness the rather large snake that had seemingly appeared out of nowhere. "A snake!", he thought as he tried to wriggle his body and withdraw his hands from his pockets but was surprised when his body just wouldn't respond. It was a really wierd occurence; first a snake that he didn't notice on the ground because his eyes were opened all along or step on as he walked over the dead leaves, it just 'appeared'. Secondly, he was unable to move a single part of his body; this was a large snake, and his first reaction should have been to jump out of this forest but here he was, paralysed, by what? He didn't know. If he was in battle, these facts would have pointed towards a genjutsu, but he wasn't fighting anyone. He began to focus his wood chakra in his hand and in the ground as he shifted his eyes to all directions they could reach in search of someone behind this. He needed not search far as the brain behind this revealed himself, confirming that this was indeed an illusion. As he begins to speak in his crouched position, 3 kunai sized projectiles shoot from underneath him. 2 skewer both of his feet (i.e. 1 each) and 1 impales him right through the arse. They all rise at the same time, making no noise nor vibration. Simultaneously, from Yamato's left hand (inside his pocket), a similar projectile grows, slowly piercing his hip and thus releasing him from the genjutsu with just enough pain.

The instant the illusion is released, Yamato spins and summons a mass of purple flowers beneath and around the man who attacked him, paralysing him.

As pain surged through Kabuto's feet and rear end, he squinted his eyes, and then regretted it. A true shinobi wouldn't have done any such thing, and he quickly opened his eyes, so see that his glasses had fallen down the bridge of his nose, as they often did. Being the disciple of a genius like Orochimaru, perhaps one day he should get new glasses. But, when he looked out over his glasses, he could see very clearly purple flowers, among the blurriness of his surroundings. So now not only was he in pain, but this man had attempted genjutsu on him. As Kabuto attempted to wiggle his ears as a very subtle method of testing his general mobility, he found his body paralyzed, and only his mental capacity and chakra flow able to function properly. My my, it would appear as though I've slipped. Closing his eyes to relax, Kabuto quickly released an omnidirectional burst of electricity from his 361 Tenketsu, creating a surge in his chakra system so as to disrupt the illusion, as well as disintegrating the wooden projectiles, while also at the same time inducing a physical paralysis in the man who stood directly behind him.
After releasing the electrical surge, Kabuto immediately made the earth beneath him rise in the form of a serpent, leaping into the air in order to take him a distance from his opponent (into mid-range). Staring at his opponent as his serpent entered the ground beneath him, Kabuto pushed up his glasses with his middle finger and then pulled his sleeves off of his shirt, removing his shoes as well. Tying his short sleeves around his feet, Kabuto made make-shift bandages before putting his shoes back on over top. Kabuto then shifted to his knees, wincing in pain. Say, how would you like to talk? We both seem to be adept in the usage of genjutsu, and breaking it, so fighting each other with illusions simply won't cut it, eh? Or do you believe that you can break my mind before I break yours? Oh, I'm sorry, did I paralyze your jaw as well? It must seem like I'm simply taunting you, doesn't it? Please, allow me to end the taunting and go straight to the offensive. Reaching into his back ninja pouch, Kabuto removed several scalpels, which he then tossed in a high arc towards the man across from him. With his chakra imbued into each scalpel, Kabuto then extended his arms outwards and cased each of the surgery tools to continue to go upwards, until they were directly above the man, where Kabuto caused them to turn and rain down towards his head. As the tools descended, a few continued to fly straight downwards, while most of the scalpels arced outwards in order to create a foot-ball shape (if the path of each of the scalpels were to be made visual and then turned into a wire-frame sculpture), attempting to attack from above and from all sides. At the same time, Kabuto's serpent began to "swim" directly upwards from under the man, creating a rumbling in the ground as it neared the surface, creating a perfect omnidirectional attack. Offense may not be my strong suit... But you're special; for you, I'll make an exception.

Description: The user focuses doton chakra into the ground beneath them, and creates a large snake out of the earth. Then snake then "leaps" out of the earth in an arc, causing a large ruckus, landing back into the earth, and fusing back into it (as if it were never there). However, sensors are still able to see the snake-shaped chakra signature moving under the ground. The snake can leap out of the ground as often as the user likes, and can be used to defend up to A-rank jutsu (B-rank lightning). If the snake lands on an object which is not a part of the earth (ie. a tree or an opponent), the earth snake will crush it in it's path back into the earth.

After summoning the purple flowers, Yamato is convinced that he has paralysed his opponent. He still wondered who the fellow was and why he attacked out of the blue. He also wondered if maybe this man wasn't the only one in the forest; maybe there were more intruders here in these woods. He considered going to inform the higher officials but realized that he could just leave this man here. Before he could think of what to do with the man, a burst of electricity escaped from the man's body. "SHIT!" he muttered, as he threw a back flip, generating a large surge of wind around and infront of him that negates the electric surge.
(Fūton: Boufuu oonami no Jutsu ) - Wind Release: Gale Surge Technique

Description: The user will create a large surge of wind that is capable of pushing a target back and dealing some small cuts to them. The wind technique is also strong enough to push back a large summoning creature.
He allows his opponent to escape on the earth serpent(which he also takes note of as it enters the ground) and tie his make-shift bandages eventhough they both knew that it would only slow down the bleeding but not stop it completely. "Hehe.. A lot of words from someone kneeling before me. Hehehe... Silly of me to think you went down so easily, eh? Kabuto!" As the man now knelt mid range from him, Yamato got a full view of him. He was Kabuto, right-hand man of Orochimaru and an enemy of the Leaf. Seeing the scalpels tossed in a high arc, Yamato unexpected dashes towards Kabuto, with his body almost simultaneously being surrounded by a fast rotating vortex of wind and lightning. If you continue with the manipulation of the scalpels, they'll simply be repelled by the vortex. If the earth serpent leaps out, it is also destroyed by the vortex. On nearing the end of mid range(7m from you), Yamato causes the lightning in the vortex to leap off him and crash into Kabuto.

Description: The user forms a whirling vortex of wind and electricity around themselves. The vortex will take on the form of a dragon’s head and will cover the area in front of them. Even if the attack doesn't directly connect with his foe, the lightning can jump from the vortex to hit a nearby target.

As the lightning is en route, a spiralling pillar of wood rises from the ground and surrounds Kabuto, restricting and allowing the lightning to hit him.
