The aluminum is formed right beneath you lol, if you made the fire spread onto it the heat will be conducted through the aluminum melting your legs as well as the aluminum melt and also when the aluminum melts it turns into liquid aluminum that's extremely hot xd and btw the iron sand doesn't spread underground it spreads either into the air or onto the ground, due to the snowy field it's easily seen lol.

As the Haku puppet shoots the fire, Dante forms a huge wind wall at the farthest of short range from him blowing backwards at his location, as the fire collides to the wind wall the fire mixes with the wind causing it to become a wind/fire combination, taking the full power of the fire and wind, then Dante reverses the polarity of the wind wall making it blow towrads your direction instead of him making the fire technique change directions while it's now a wind/fire combination technique of 140 damage points heading your way.
