Noticing his opponent Ichigo builds lightning chakra in his feet generated from the ground and uses it to dart towards Toshiro at speeds hardly trackable by the young ninja. Ichigo appears in front of the boy and thrusts him in the chest with a lightning charged palm lifting him off the ground and taking the wind out of the boy in the process.
Raiton: Raiya Houchou (Lightning Release: Lightning Arrow Step)
Without wasting an instant, Ichigo then builds up lightning chakra into his leg which begins to crackle and spin rapidly around his leg resembliling a chain saw. He uses the lightning saw to deliver a hard roundhouse across the airborn ninja's chest, cutting him and half and spilling his guts all over Ichigo's LV loafers.

He had no idea that this man was capable of achieving high speeds such as that, and knew that getting to close and letting him hit Toshiro would possibly be fatal. In quick response, Toshiro creates a blade of wind vertically and launches it towards Ichigo, who was advancing at a dangerously fast speed. If met with Ichigo's body, it would deal severe damage and cut his vulnerable body, leaving him at a great disadvantage.

Just being in close proximity to the technique can cause minor cuts. The wind blades can be created and thrown, like projectiles, in rapid succession, although in this case, each one weaker than the single use application. The technique cannot be blocked by physical weapons and is insanely fast by not relying on the use of Hand seals but, because it still requires the user to perform hand gestures to use and is somewhat visible in the effect it produces, it can still be defended against by using appropriate evasion techniques or fast elemental ninjutsu.

In response, he raises his leg disconnecting his connection to the ground allowing him to regain his composure and bring forward his left hand allowing him to use his dark release to absorb the wind threatening to hit him by swiping his absorption hand vertically in the direction of the hostile wind.

Immediately after being out of harms way Ichigo stops the absorption technique and throws a lightning infused kunai followed by a wind infused kunai at the boy.

Seeing the two kunai's coming my way, I simply grab one of my own and breath wind chakra into it. This would allow my kunai to grow in length and strength. I intersect your kunais and redirect them to another direction by slashing them with my own kunai one by one. Afterwards, I would throw the kunai at you.

Noticing you perform handseals, i knew that you would go on the offensive. Moments later, the first kunai heading my way would explode, creating a net made of lightning. Luckily, i held on to my kunai and simply cut the net in half, splitting it and having the two separate parts pass to my sides. Upon defending, I see Ichigo perform a single handseal once again. Expecting the same thing as you did with the first kunai, I send out earth chakra throughout my entire body materializing forth, an armor made of dense earth completely capable of defending my body from the spinning kunai, which extended into a longer, staff-like thing.

As I begin to sink at an alarming rate, I create a large stone golem to rise up from the swamp, and bring me above the mud where I am able to breath. As I rise up, I would shed the defensive armor I created earlier, as for now, it would only be of no use. Like a human, it is capable of movement and as such, I would manipulate it to move out of the swamp, still maintaining the (Mid range?) gap between the two shinobi.
