Straight down to business. Tired of writing wallies.

Souji Hyuuga? Sigh. Another one on the hit list. They were erasing all the rogue shinobis and missing ninjas, but also any Konoha ninja, if spotted, was to be eliminated. He had a Konoha forehead protector. He stared onto the symbol. Brought back a little nostalgia, albeit no special memories. It was as if he was in ANBU again, but he had freedom. His face radiated confidence, with his silver bangs falling down diagonally on his face. Brushing his leg back, he brought together his hands. Straight to business.

His opponent stood long range from him. Noticing his position, he thought of a strategy. After thinking over it, he kneaded Earth chakra in his body and performed a single handseal(mastery, first specialty) and sent his manipulated chakra below Souji's position, manipulating the Earth around him to form a sticky, non-flammable below him, that would trap him, and prevent him from escaping.

As he struggled to move, and at the same time, the swamp sucking his chakra, he gathered Lightning chakra in his body and sent it outwards, manipulating it to form a whirling vortex of electricity around him, giving it the shape of a dragon's head. He then directed the dragon vortex towards him at high speeds aimed at his head. If left undefended, the vortex would electrocute him severely and kill him.

After the dragon was launched towards him, he took out a single explosive kunai and coated it with a large amount of chakra, after which he flung it at him, at such an angle that it would travel below the dragon, not interfering with it's trajectory, aimed at his abdomen. As the kunai took flight, he weaved a sequence of 5 handseals and split the chakra within it, dividing it in a thousand parts to create 1000 shadow copies of the original kunais. But, these weren't merely an illusion, they were completely real. He had to now deal with both the dragon and the explosive kunais.

Tenzo felt that a ninja of his caliber should easily defend from it. After all Konoha nins weren't to be underestimated. Was he holding back? Killing wasn't really his forte, but it had to be done, now or later. It had been quite some time, since he had a proper battle.

(Doton: Yomi Numa) - Earth Style: Swamp of the Underworld

Description: The user will first perform Boar → Tiger and then by changing the surface of an object beneath an enemy into mud and creating a non flammable swamp, the user can sink his enemy into the mud. The adhesive, chakra-infused mud ensnares the enemy's body, making it almost impossible to recover one's strength and escape from the swamp. The size and depth of the created swamp depends on the user's skill and the amount of chakra used, but if the user is an expert in this technique, it will always be possible to make a fair-sized swamp which is extremely effective against a great number of enemies or when having to face gigantic creatures.

(Shuriken Kage Bunshin no Jutsu) - Shuriken Shadow Clone Jutsu

Description: After throwing one shuriken or more against their target, the user creates up to a thousand shadow clones of the shuriken (or kunai, senbon, etc, basically any basic weapon) after performing Ram → Rat → Bird → Boar → Tiger which multiply the damage as its striking down the enemy. This is a technique that combines ninja tools with ninjutsu. Compared to normal shadow clones, clones of material objects are said to be on a far higher level. There is no need for preparations beforehand, like stocking up on shuriken, yet since the shadow clones are real and not illusions, all the shadow blades that fly around are equally lethal. This is valid for any weapon copied and it has been seen that the copied weapons will also have the tags or markings of the original, like sealing or explosive tags or sealing marks.

[Souji]

(That was an excellent opening move ._. looks like I won't have a minute to catch my breath ;-; )

Souji Seta admired the landscape around him. It was nice; the ninja world was a great place, when you looked past all the senseless conflict and arguments. There was a light breeze that whipped against his clothes from directly in front of him, picking up light dust and other debris. It made look admittedly quite cool, like some sort of anime hero you'd see at the closing sequences of their show, looking all contemplative and deep Lol

From the distance, about long range, Souji saw what appeared to be another man on the other side. He couldn't completely make out his features, but he seemed like a shinobi. His natural friendliness and desire to meet new people prompted the Hyuuga to try and walk over to greet him, but he didn't have any time to do so as this figure suddenly performed what appeared to be a handseal.

A swamp was forming quickly, towards Souji.

Oh come on, not even a... He thought.

-sigh- he breathed heavily, looking slightly disappointed.

Before the swamp could fully form around him and drown the him in mud, Souji responded by molding Doton chakra in his right hand and slammed it onto the ground, forming a 5 x 5 meter Earth block that rose up 5 meters upward, protecting him from the swamp and granting him the much needed high, solid ground.

Not even a minute after this happened, Souji observed how his assailant formed a Lightning Dragon that was quickly racing towards him.

Dude, at least take me out for dinner before killing me... he thought humorously, smirking. Well, now wasn't the time to ponder the 'what ifs'. His mindset quickly shifted to that of a fully focused fighter.

As the Dragon came towards him, Souji, on top of the Earth Core, weaved the Ram handseal and formed 5 large tornadoes in front of him, creating something like a wall of wind, that he then pushed forward. This would easily over defend against the Dragon, and should Tenzo continue onward with the explosive kunais and their subsequent multiplication, he would fail to defend against the tornado wall and be engulfed in the lethal vortexes.

This provided ample cover for Souji to activate his Byakugan. He was able to do this without handseals, as if it were passive, but it would cost a move nevertheless. With the abilities of the All-Seeing White Eye, he was able to zoom in a little and focus on his opponent, who was most likely defending from the Tornado Wall.

Yeah, definitely a shinobi. What was the reason for this sudden attack? Was Souji really that popular? Or was it something else? Lol

"Yo! For a moment, it seemed as if you were trying to kill me..." he called out to Tenzo, with a friendly voice and disposition.

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Byakugan is the kekkei genkai of the Hyuga clan. Bearers of this Dõjutsu have almost featureless white eyes. When the Byakugan is activated, the user's pupils become more distinct, and the veins near their temples bulge as the blood flow to their eyes is increased. While having the Byakugan deactivated, Hyuga ninjas have a normal eyesight and no special addition to their vision. While low rank Hyugas will need to perform a sequence of hand seals ( Horse → Tiger with lifting just index fingers → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Hare → Rat → Dog → Horse → Dog → Hare → Rat → Boar with nearly straightened fingers → Snake with the right index finger lifted straight up) to activate their Byakugan, Hyuga masters will be able to do so without the need for any hand seals and even have it active passively for long periods of time. Once activated, the user gains access to all of the abilities the Byakugan bestows upon them. While, like other Dojutsu, its main ability is to see chakra and the chakra flow in sentient beings, the Byakugan adds a complete new detail and dimension to that ability. The user can not only see chakra and the chakra flow, but also the circulatory system and even the 361 tenketsu. Added to this ability, once activated the Byakugan grants the user a near perfect field of vision 360º around himself (up to long-range if he's a master). This field of vision has only one blind spot, slightly above the 3rd thoracic vertebrae and facing backwards but enables the user to actually even see his own chakra circulatory system and chakra flow, which explains why all Hyuugas are so adept and masterfull of precise chakra control. The last ability the Byakugan has is the ability to zoom in and out, focusing on specific things, piercing beyond matter and energy alike, as well as chakra. This specific ability allows the user to see pass most barriers as well as physical matter (like rock walls, ground, etc) but also energy, being able to focus beyond chakra that might be in front of them or other energies. The zooming ability is enhanced as the user becomes more adept at using his eyes and can even reach distances above 20kms away. Some Hyugas have shown a great awareness regarding agressiveness as well as killing intent, detecting such intentions and emotions from others with more ease than most.
Note: Activation spends a move from the users own move count but once the user reaches Sannin Rank and has gained mastery over Gentle Fist for 1 month, he can activate it passively without spending a move. Because of its low chakra cost to maintain, the user can keep it active throughout the whole fight as long as he has chakra and stamina to do so.
Note: Genjutsu that requires Eye Contact when used against a Byakugan user requires direct eye contact between enemy pupil and user's pupil
Note: Must be activated to use Gentle Fist (Jyuken)
Note: Cannot be blinded by matter, chakra, light or energy

As expected of a Hyuuga clan member. Quick in their actions, and precise too. As the Earth core lifted him up, Tenzo thought it would be useless to attack him with a technique that would take quite some time to reach him. Thus, he ran towards him, reaching mid-range from him. The opponent seemed friendly from his demeanor. I'm sorry, but I have no time to waste for friendly talks and introductions. You must be recognizing me however. Konoha had waged war on us previously, and plundered our resources. In return, we were asked to eliminate any shinobi from Konoha, be innocent or not. Your deaths will teach a lesson to your Hokage, to not mess with our village purely out of greed. As long as I work under the Otokage, I have no name, no existence and nothing. Simply carrying out my mission is my only job, like a true shinobi.

Without speaking further, he cancelled the Lightning Dragon, and instead gathered a large amount of Fire natured chakra in his body and channeled it to his gullet, performing the Horse handseal, and manipulating the chakra skillfully to release it as a super massive stream of Hellfire that would widen in range as they would travel. The stream widened in it's path and consumed the massive tornadoes that were released by Souji, and continued on as A-Ranked Fire stream. If left undefended, the stream would turn him to ashes upon contact.

(Katon: Gōka Mekkyaku) - Fire release: Great Fire Majestic Annihilation

Description: A technique where the user makes the horse hand seal and then kneads chakra inside his body which is then converted into fire and expelled from the mouth as a massive wall of intense flames, which covers an expansive range in both vertical and horizontal dimensions, making it extremely difficult to avoid. However, due to its massive width and height, the technique is not one of the fastest seen so far.

 

[Souji]

Geez, this guy took himself pretty seriously. For someone who didn't like fancy introductions or formalities, he definitely monologued about how Oto was going to stop Konoha, revealing a lot about himself. He saw himself as a tool for his village. Souji could understand his reasoning, but shinobi also had free wills and "nindos". Tenzo spoke like an ANBU member; cold, unfeeling, and efficient.

"I guess I've got no choice, then. I wasn't part of that invasion; you'll condemn everyone for the sins of a few? No village truly has their hands clean... not even your so called 'Oto'. You've offended my village, my friends, and me."

"... A pity we couldn't have met on better terms."

He would be greeted by a weakened, A-rank Fire Technique coming at him while he was standing on the Earth Core. Forming the Ram handseal, Souji would then release a large amount of water from his mouth after molding his Suiton chakra, forming large waves that would engulf the entire area of the battlefield in front of Souji. These waves would wash over the fire, easily dousing it and continuing as B-ranked waves towards Tenzo. They would be strong enough to wash Tenzo away with powerful forces, perhaps even drowning him with the sheer volume of water. The swamp's mud on the surface would simply mix with these waves, forming something akin to muddy water. It wouldn't wash away the entire swamp, but just a thin layer off the top; skimmed, one would say.

After the waves crushed Tenzo, Souji would form an orb of water behind him, derived from these waves; the second part to his first jutsu. Afterward, without much time spent, he would weave the Tiger handseal, and from this formed orb, multiple tendrils of water would erupt, aimed towards Tenzo's body. They would impale and skewer the Oto-nin from behind, killing him without a second thought. Since the orb was formed from the previous, first technique, the second jutsu would have been performed with far less time and setup, making these techniques almost flow in their usages.

"... yes, truly a pity." he said, Byakugan gazing at the aftermath of this attack.

The important part is that, you're a Konoha ninja, and that's what matters. Be it an innocent man or a criminal, I couldn't care less. Orochimaru took away our childhood from us and killed countless of shinobis in the Sound village, not hesitating to use his subordinates as sacrifices for the Edo Tensei. This whole Shinobi system is rotten in it's core. However, I won't hesitate to make an example of what happens when a leader relentlessly massacres our village.

Ah, the Byakugan, the trademark of the Hyuugas. Not surprising. As the stream neared Souji, he blew a large amount of Water, extinguishing the Fire stream and continuing on weakened. Thus, Tenzo cancelled the stream and instead gathered a good amount of chakra in his body, weaving the Tiger handseal and compressed it so much to form a high pressurized jet of Water that had the capability of cleaning cutting through several thick tree trunks. He arched his head sidwards, as the stream traveled in different directions and cut through the waves, dividing them into exactly two, as the trajectory of them changed, each flowing sidewards, thus not hitting Tenzo. The waves crashed upon the land with a loud sound.(The division of the waves would prevent the orb from being formed.)

As the wave was cut, he didn't waste further time. Weaving 3 handseals, he gathered a good amount of Lightning in his body and channeled them to his hands, slamming them on the ground, as the Lightning traveled quickly through it in the form of a triangle, with it's tip pointed towards him. The Lightning triangle instantly destroyed the massive Earth column and traveled along it, destroying it completely. This would cause nothing, but debris below Souji, plus the Lightning would shock his legs, and his body, as he would struggle to move, falling down quickly.

As he descended downwards, Yamato knew it was time for his special techniques. He gathered Wood chakra in his body, and instantly created Wooden branches as thick as tree trunks that traveled towards Souji and intertwined around him, crushing him upon contact. If undefended, this would mean his death.

(Suiton: Suidanha) - Water Release: Water Severing Wave

It causes devastating destruction on its way and generates enough heat and power to destroy whatever it comes into contact with.

(Mokuton: Dai Sashiki no Jutsu) - Wood Release: Great Cutting Technique

Description: An enhanced version of the Wood Release: Peircing Branch Technique in which the user will create giant branches that are essentially as thick as tree trunks which are then used to intertwine around their opponent and effectively crushing them.

Tenzo was bitter. Souji could almost see the sadness in his eyes. He had a point, but Souji wasn't going to argue it further. If words wouldn't reach him...

... force would.

Observing as his opponent cut the waves without much effort, he wondered for a moment why that water jet wasn't directed at him. Perhaps his opponent was too focused on the actual waves themselves. Were he in Tenzo's shoes, Souji would have continued the stream to try and reach his opponent. After all, that attack seemed like it easily overpowered his waves, the way they cut.

In any case, instead of being able to gain a proper bearing, he watched as Tenzo weaved a set of handseals and formed a triangular bolt of lightning that would travel across the ground towards him. Knowing that something like that would surely shock him, he would keep a bead on its path, and leap off his Earth Core, forward, while Molding Katon chakra in his mouth. This enabled him to dodge the destruction of his Earth Core (had he been on it, he would have been defeated), and while he was in the air, he would release three giant flaming bullets at Tenzo which would rain down on him, and on contact with the ground and him, erupt into geysers of flame, incinerating him. They were aimed in such a way that one of bullets was directly aimed at him, and one was aimed to his left, and the other to his right. Tenzo would need to defend himself from this, likely stopping the formation of his third technique.

(To clarify, as the lightning bolt travels up the Earth Core, I leap off it and land in front of it as it gets destroyed U_U )

Upon landing on the ground, Souji would follow up by gathering Raiton chakra in his left hand and thrusting it forward as a ball-like projectile, would would explode with massive amounts of lightning energy. Directed towards Tenzo, this dual elemental combination would surely be enough to finish him off.

As the Lightning destroyed the column, Tenzo could sense his opponent being pressurized and acting accordingly. Jumping from the column, Souji spew three projectiles of Fire that rained down upon him like meteors and the downward acceleration adding to it. Pcch, he thought. Quickly acting, he gathered a small amount of chakra in his body and instantly substituted himself with a block of wood, situated near the area where the Earth core originally stood. Due to the destruction, Souji was forced to land on the ground again, i.e. he reached just beside Souji. He took advantage of the vegetation and the blocks of Wood and scattered flowers that were all around the area, scattered haphazardly. The block of Wood took the brunt of the attack and burnt immediately, producing smoke and slowly turning to ash.

Instantly, as he reached there, he bent his body sidewards, holding his right hand with his left and outstretched his right arm sidewards, the elbow facing his opponent, and used the momentum of the bend to inflict a powerful elbow smash on his side waist, the impact of the hit being powerful enough to push him sidewards, as well as break his waist bones, if left undefended from.

So, I see. You finally got serious.

(Kawarimi no Jutsu) - Change of Body Stance Technique

Description: Kawarimi no Jutsu is a basic Ninjutsu technique. When in danger the ninja will quickly substitute themselves with another nearby object. This can be a block of wood or even another person. This allows the ninja to quickly flee and hide while the original object takes the brunt of their opponents attack. The technique is a mix between high speed movement and the use of the transformation technique but has its limits.

(Konoha Kaiganshō) - Leaf Rock Destroying Rise

Description: A taijutsu technique where the user smashes their elbow into their opponent using the other arm as support. It deals a powerful blow to the target and as the name suggests, is even strong enough to destroy rock formations.

Nothing escaped his eyes. Souji would observe as Tenzo substituted safely out of the elemental assault and proceeded to attack with a powerful elbow thrust to his side.

As the elbow reached within lethal range of his body, Souji would bring up his knee and elbow simultaneously, intending on touching each other. These two limbs were the ones facing Tenzo as he performed the attack (you never specified which side you attack me from, but if you attack me from my left, it's my left arm/leg, and vice versa). The elbow and knee would touch the top and bottom of Tenzo's elbow thrust, intercepting the attack and easily catching Tenzo's elbow, holding it. Souji would be standing on one foot; the one he didn't use to intercept the attack.

Immediately after this, Souji would bring down the foot and elbow that was holding Tenzo in place. This would throw his opponent off balance and bring him down as well. The sheer crushing force of the intercept would cause some bruising or even fractures. Souji uses his free foot as an anchor to allow this motion to happen. As his opponent was being brought down, Souji would use his free hand (the one not intercepting your elbow) and perform an upward scooping motion with an open palm. His palm had chakra infused through it, releasing streaks of blue chakra. This open palm would smack Tenzo against his chest; more specifically, his heart, just as he was brought down from being held onto, causing critical damage to the tenketsu in this area.

There were no words from Souji, just a stern gaze that contrasted his usual demeanor.

Yamato had begin his run, but something made him stop in the tracks. His eyes were locked at the Hyuuga. The Byakugan. The Hyuugas were the strongest of the Leaf. And they prevailed in close range combat. It was a very foolish thing for him to go close range. But he had an idea in mind. Even though Wood Release was mainly used in mid-range to long-range combat, he just had a jutsu ready that could potentially kill the Hyuuga.

He gathered a large amount of chakra and released it at once, in the form of very sharp wooden pillars and spikes that emerged from his body and rushed towards Souji as projectiles and if not defended in time, it would cut through his body and break his bones in seconds.

As he did that, he jumped backwards, reaching mid-range of his opponent, brushing the ground as he did, balancing himself and watching his opponent getting skewered by the spikes and the pillars. Without wasting time, he weaved two handseals and channeled his Wood chakra to the ground, forcefully making complete trees sprout from the ground as one of the branches of the trees coiled around Souji, trapping him thereby. It could be expected that the Hyuuga, if he still had strength left in him could destroy the branch that coiled around him.

Thus, he clapped his hands and focused his chakra into the part of the forest, that was short range of Souji. Within a blink of an eye, everything mid-range from Yamato's position(i.e. Souji's short range) would explode and leave a giant crater. If the Hyuuga failed to defend himself, then he would be blown to smithereens.
