Ok so I am a lagger now a days when it comes to anime, but the break in the manga makes the time to go for the anime so I was recently watching this episode in which Diamante was introduced in the coloseum.

And If anyone has been following my posts I was a die hard anime fan and watched the entire OP anime till the timeskip, and a few eps after to catch up with OP. But this particular episode made me really appreciate the manga >_>

For a moment I thought I was watching Shinchan. (Google it if you don't know). Seriously TOEI? You just crapped on the best series out there. You should feel bad.

The OST for Diamante was pretty cool but overall the art was poor lol. I'm not surprised since they screwed over Toriko/World-Trigger fans as well from what I heard. The art is okay, it's just inconsistent so people assume it's bad all the time but that isn't the case. If the art was more consistent, I'd enjoy the anime a lot more since the poor pacing can be "fixed" with One Pace.

Lazy shit like this pisses me off at times and it seems like it's even more of a issue with the Dressrosa arc. The art was a lot better, or should I say consistent pre-TS. MF was a good example of that for the most part.

Those are pretty good examples of what I am talking about. Also I liked how Diamante did the "BAM" thing but that does not give way to the shitty anime quality.
I still think they should take a 1 year break on one piece.

@Bold Lol you wish. OP is extremely popular in Japan, they'll never take a year break or even a month. Why do you think we only get like 4 or 5 episodes of fillers after an arc is done (at best). They're trying to milk OP as much as possible and they know it'll get a lot of views regardless of how bad the art is.

My suggestion: Stop switching the staff for an ep. each week.

The anime really doesn't do the manga justice. I used to be a big anime fan of OP too but after retreading the chapters after watching the anime, I've grown to appreciate the manga better. With the dragging of episodes, not always capturing the appropriate feel, and making OP seem childish at times is why I prefer to watch the anime in portions, the same way you do if you're just watching that episode. But still, it be nice it was consistently done well.

As a Manga reader i have always loved to switch to the Anime to see the epic moments with the great ost's together.
But since the NW it got worse and worse. Especially this arc makes you sad as a OP fan and how poorly toei is making the epsiodes. I don't even wanna think about how they are going to **** up the most important fight in this arc.. (Luffy vs Doffy)

Seriously though Mad-house did a tremendous job with HxH. Considering togashi's drawing style. TOEI should come to senses. The ending and the point at which they decided to end it, hats-off guys.

Well I praise Madhouse for their consistent art/animation and especially how faithful they are to the original source material. Toei can't even get Luffy's second gear correctly. Their OST's are amazing as well and you rarely get this feeling of them cheeping out or being lazy with the art/animation. Toei's censorship can get really annoying at times.

haven't seen that one
But HU is ova, and OVA's generally have a much higher budget which makes normal anime shows pale in comparison in the visual aspect
If u want to try it out, I suggest u download an ep, it's around 1 gig 50 min/episode
