I always thought "OP" also stand for the Official Post or....

OP is Original Post or/and Over-powered.

OP-Over powered: This comes from video games where some abilities are too strong so compared to the rest it becomes over powered (it translates to anime shows pretty well)

GG-Good Game: Also started on video games at the end of a match everyone would simply type gg.

GG means Good Game, it's used as a taunt and basically means "I win, you lose."
