Dust release has a drawback time, first of all.

Second of all, Gaara had to protect his village, and fight an S-rank criminal. It was a perfect set up for his demise, as the story-line and plot to extract his Biju, if Gaara was irrelevant as you suggest, than he wouldn't have been brought back to life. He easily takes Tsunade, Mei, and Ay in a 1v1, the only Gokage who would give him trouble is Onoki, and he still loses high difficulty given Gaara's extreme combat versatility, monster reserves, and

The entire Jinton 1 shots argument works on many, but not everyone.

The only Kage Tsunade for sure takes out is Ay.

Highly false. She has poison/ Taijutsu/Medical ninjutsu/ Seals/ Experience with tactics.. soo yea. Take away her medical ninjutsu, she still is stronger then Raikage in regards to strength and still has kage teir Taijutsu. Take away her taijutsu she is still the best Tank in the series and can heal a whole village, which is a Kage level feat not to mention she can easily switch to poison style fighting.

In terms of combat, Onoki is in a class of his own. In terms of usefulness, Onoki and Tsunade are equals (based on the madara fight).

Usefulness: Onoki/Tsunade>Mei/Gaara>>>>>Ei. Ei was absolutely useless in the madara fight. He could not do anything without the assistance of Onoki. He couldn't even damage the susanoo ribcage, something Tsunade did on her own. Mei was the only kage, besides Onoki who actually damaged the susanoo clones. People just focus on her negative aspects unfortunately. Gaara also contributed.

Ei is absolutely pathetic! Tsunade shouldn't have wasted her time saving him.

she dodges his attacks lol, its easy enuf to do that. and just because she and sakura are good support types doesnt mean they are worse than oonoki. without tsunades help he would have been an equal threat as tsunade and the rest to madara is the bottom line. the difference is that ya he can fly but his overall mobility is shit cus he instantly throws his back outif he wants to fly around all day throwing around dust particle attacks, tsunade can easily dodge till he throws his back out.

Tsunade is neither fast enough to dodge the bulk of his attacks nor strong enough to take them. So all he has to do is fly around until her seal runs out of chakra and beat up the old lady
