Depends on knowledge. Because if Kisame knows about Jinton, he's very likely to counter (the linear form) with his Daikōdan. On the other hand, Ōnoki (dare I say it) possibly has the greatest two-piece in this manga. If Dust Release is used in the same fashion as it was against Madara, even if only half the size, Kisame gets annihilated.

Honestly, both have quite good odds of winning; it depends on the situation.

If GSB can counter Jinton, then Kisame wins. Kisame has a great chance of winning the longer the fight goes on. Onoki is not exactly the picture of good health, with his back problems and low stamina.

With Kisame's basically stamina sucking powers and Onoki's already ext low stamina .. Unless Onoki Quickly uses his strongest move he loses

This. Even though I feel there's is a huge disparity between skill levels, I am partial to Onoki since he's my favorite kage.

Kishi gave asuma that same stat ... Personally the stats in the data book mean squat .. i only take what it says about jutsu seriously

Then Asuma is on his level, I guess...
Kishi used to underrate the females in his own manga, yet according to the databook Tsunade is on pair with Orochimaru, who is stronger then the akatsuki members ( except Itachi and Pain )

Of course. But I doubt Kishi will give Kisame higher stats then the Sannins. They aren't ordinary ninjas, they are legends. Literally.

I hope you realize overall DB points doesn't equal that ninja's overall strength compared to other ninja.

Not really. You're only supposed to compare characters in individual stats not overall stats. Using overall DB points as their strength is extremely flawed and makes no sense as one character could use more of a certain stat in their battles than another.
