Ooniki vs Gaara? Sand vs Rock..

So if ooniki and garra fight off in a place were it is surrounded with rocks and sand who would win?

Personally I think gaara... His sands speed is ultra fast.:ice:

it all comes down to whos attack is faster. and IMO sand wave is faster than onoki can fly up and fire dust release. plus sand can attack from below

than his prime state. The same panel shows that Onoki won't attack from too far of a distance, which could either hurt or help Onoki in the long run. Now I can't think of much that would actually pose a threat to Gaara unless he uses Jinton (which he should early in the game). However, seeing as Gaara always wraps his sand around a victim first, can't Onoki just make the sand weightless?

Both have knowledge of each other and will be wary of what the other will do, but IMO Onoki would pull it off since he has the more potent weapon.

Dust Release Cant be defensed against because it destroys things on a Molecular level thats alot smaller than sand which means disintegrates it. Gaara can't block Dust release its impossible he has to avoid and with that in mine Onoki can easily kill gaara with his flexible flying to get close and hit him with the move he did on sasuke which was very quick even though he charged or use this move which would be impossible to avoid at blink point range.

i think gaara in the desert can simply lift up the sand already at onokis feet and stop jinton by restraining his hands. if onoki tries turning the sand into stone, gaara gets his feet and crushes them. now onoki cant move.

Gaara's sand is very fast now,onoki dosen usually move when he is forming jinton,also he can use it only twice befor running out. Jinton takes a while to form,gaara could quickly attack him with his sand relentlessly to keep him occupied. Also it's just a thought,but if onoki fires a jinton at gaara,and gaara hits the cone with sand,it will make a premature setoff right. Gaara can also fly as fast as onoki,he even said he would have reached the island faster than onoki,he coyld move about and attack onoki continously while grinding up the roks to make more sand to use.

Could go either way. But with Gaara's knowledge of onooki I think Gaara can pull it off with getting him with his fast sand attacks.

Jinton will simply destroy gaara, his sand shield will do nothing to protect him and he is not fast enough to avoid jinton. And remember people Gaara's sand is so fast in recent chapters simply because Onoki made the sand lighter so don't be hyping sand speed so much because Onoki will not make sand light if he wants to kill Gaara lol.
