There's a clear cut difference in out manouvering an opponent and outspeeding them. Gaara did the former, albeit barely and while in a desert. Clear cut, several times, Deidara evades Gaara's sand. [

Gaara's Absolute Defense is enough to stop Onoki's Jinton and then he can use his Prison Sand Burial to defeat Ononki. Onoki relies so much on his Jinton and is not a versatile fighter compared to Gaara.

Jinton beats any of Gaara's sand defense he'd die in battle trying to tank them vs dodging them.

Proof killed that last debate but I have little knowledge on Gaara and from what I believe, he loses high diff. Reason being that Onoki can lighten and harden his sand to his advantage.

Onoki can do this to Gaara's sand making it crumble or whatever he showed if he gets caught. Like this for example (Bottom panel)

Jinton, Clones and Golem would give Onoki the win from my knowledge of Gaara. Plus Onoki matched Deidara's flight speed

True...If Gaara keeps putting pressure it would be hard to settle for Jinton but clones and golem could distract him leaving Onoki to settle down for it.

Then if Onoki gets caught, he can do what I said earlier on making the sand crumble of him or whatever it did to Zetsu. War Arc Gaara may be faster but to the extent where Onoki won't be able to dodge his sand or react to it? Don't think so.
