Onoki: the most slept-on ninja?

I've been thinking about it lately, and I know a ton of ninja on this site end up being underrated (coughtsunadecough), but I think probably the most underrated shinobi on NB is Onoki.

We have to keep in mind that Onoki is the same age as Hiruzen when he died, and as we all know, Orochimaru had a huge handicap when he fought the third because he was very old and his stamina drained quickly. In my opinion, elderly Onoki > elderly Hiruzen. If Hiruzen was said to be so godly in his prime, that could mean the stuff we see Onoki do currently isn't even his best.

Yet he manages to easily be the strongest kage. His jinton is one chakra nature away from pretty much being Obito's ten-tailed chakra balls of die forever kthxbai. Plus the old man has some of the most clutch moments of any character in the manga. Here's a few highlights.

We know for a fact that Hiruzen was stronger back then because everyone says so

Who is to say that is the same with onoki ?

yes while you get older you naturally lose some strength,but both have entirely different fighting styles.
Onoki doesn't need stamina when he can fly and literally shoot death out at people from the palm of his hands.

What i am saying is you want to express onoki's feats then do just that,speculating how strong he must of been by comparing his age to hiruzens supports nothing.

True dude I've always thought oonoki was a boss! He's done so much during the war, but do u also remember when he would've killed sasuke if it wasn't for Tobi? He's done so much and yet people tend to not like him

I still think Tsunade is the strongest Kage because not only did they say the hokage is always the strongest of the Kage, but I still dont see his attacks (other that the molecular thingy) effecting her, and I think that her healing will play a great role in counter that attack, because they both play with molecules. And beside she outlast him

You got a point. I would love to see the Third in his prime..That would make for a cool filler ep or two.

he can make her heavy (which means slower taijutsu), use earth style to crush her...he can fly so she cant catch him, mud jutsu variation also slows her (he should know all earth styles)...yup doton it beast against her
