unaware of pain abilities is a death trap. jinton is useless vs preta path. asura will counter his rock fist IMO. with the sand in his gourd, gaara can take down the animal path and human path.
mei melts deva with boil release if she can lure him away from the others.
but theres still the possiblity pain will just do chibaku from the start
