Hello guys, I would like estabilish Onmyoudon being absolute nullifier to any Ninjutsu when it comes in contact with it. First let me clear misconception based on considering Black fluid substance as Onmyoudon. Here I go:

Truth seeking orbs != Onmyoudon
Black fluid substance used by Obito as Ten tails host to shape it into any weapon/shield or other desired shape has nothing Common with Onmyoudon. Sounds crazy, right ? However it is truth and it is only coinsidence that black fluid substance contain Onmyoudon which nullifies any Ninjutsu upon contact.
Explanation for black fluid substance:
^^ Hiruzen figures it out right away so we get nice and straight explanation. Black fluid substance is nothing more then combination of four or more basic nature elements, it is bascially much more advanced Dust release, but instead of using three elements, it uses three or four elements.
Proof for Onmyoudon!= Black fluid substance:
^^ According to Tobirama, even dead moving corpses made of ashes created by Edo Tensei technique could be destroyed with no way to regenerate if Onmyoudon was used. Yet we can see Hiruzen coming back being in fine and all shape.

Now I am sure the most of you reading it wonder then what the hell is this Onmyoudon. Well it is simple ability or power to erase any Ninjutsu attack upon contact with NO PHYSICAL FORM. Onmyoudon is ability based on Yin-Yang release manipulation, it could be described as Yin-Yang release in essence and it would be correct answer.
Onmyoudon:
Onmyoudon is ability based on Yin-Yang release manipulation with the best description as Dark and Light fires representing Yin and yang elements used together erase something. It is basically same as Creation of all things ability but opposite to it, so instead of creating it erases.

Misconception: Onmyoudon does not work on Kamui
It is common misconception used by people to claim that Onmyoudon does not work on Kamui technique as it need PHYSCIAL CONTACT. Of course Bolded part is assumption and it results from people confusing goudama with Onmyoudon.
Here is scan of Kamui technique:
Kamui technique is labeled under NINJUTSU Category, so it already reach condition needed for Onmyoudon to work on it. However some people will use Kamui's hype to argue that there is no defence against Kamui and for ironic part it is true and I won't argue with author.
The problem which creates confusion here is Onmyoudon is NO form or shape defence. It basically just erases any Ninjutsu upon contact with it... it can be interpretted as bascially reverse process of executing technique or spliting/atomizing contents used for certain Ninjutsu forcing it to be canceled by itself.
Now what the defence is ? According to dictionary defnition of "defence" word, defence is way of blocking, ressisting or tanking something. Onmyoudon is bascially same as Kamui under these conditions, it has no use to block something just avoid or erases something.
Now after we went through this explanation, Let's take a look as Kamui technique work:

The point is The space barrier had to be first created before it closes along with target drawn everything to it's centre which is black void/hole which send everything to other dimenssion. Onmyoudon as no physcial stuff will get in contact with kamui the moment Space time barrier is place around the target(user/opponent). Now the only problem is if Onmyoudon can be used as automatic defence or has to be activated by user.

Summary :
- Onmyoudon and goudama are not the same thing. Onmyoudon = goudama + Yin Yang properties
- Black fluid substance is combination of four or more basic elements used together... basically advanced version of Dust release which is Bloodline expansion.
- Truth seeking balls can be used in combination with Yin Yang active equaling Onmyoudon or without it.
- Onmyoudon works on Kamui as Space time barrier is needed to be placed around the target before target is wraped, the moment barrier is placed Onmyoudon nullify it canceling Kamui
- Neither Onmyoudon or Preta Path working on Kamui could debunk Kamui's hype. Onmyoudon is no defence as it is just eraser while Preta Path is nullifier but working differently by absorbing chakra from technique forcing technique to be cancel itself while Onmyoudon does not affect chakra but Ninjutsu as all.
