Only reason sasuke wants to destroy konoha

He wants to destroy konaha because his brother sacrifed his life and destroyed the clan all for the sake of the village that has no idea of his intentions and hes labeled a criminal.

All the villagers are having a good time and enjoying life unaware of the sacrifice it took to do so which angers sasuke.

Now if the villagers in turn knew what itachi had done for the hidden leaf wouldnt that turn sasuke around?
wouldnt that acknowledgment be enough for him to not want to destroy the village and cleanse the uchiha name...
He cleary shows signs of a change towards good would an itachi mounument be all he needs to see that the leaf cares and he can become good again??

I think he wants to destroy Konoha simply because it was the elders who told Itachi to do it.
