The one who chose the light while not giving up vs the one who gave into hatred and gave up on world.

I think this is pretty certain, plus with Konan's comments when she fought Obito, she remarked that Naruto was light and Obito was darkness.

I don't believe madara will get the juubi, He will try and the ultimately fail. Final villain is someone who is relevent to the main character and Madara is irrelevant to naruto.
