We've only seen a handful of Uchiha in battle Sasuke, Itachi, and Obito. We've also seen Edo Madara and flashbacks of Shisui. If we'd have seen some female Uchiha we could say that, but we haven't seen any.

we have seen them before remember when they are talking about the rivalry between the uchiha and senju (you see an uchiha lady with a sharingan near the time of the founding of konoha):flaw:xd lol

not many uhchia even unlocked the sharingan to begin with.

even if there was a female sharingan user shel probably had not been among the strong/reknowned ones.

naruto series has the females as the weaker gender.
if we put up a list of top 10/15 strongest characters then most of us wont have any female ninja in that list.
kishi should really change that.
