Online Naruto Manga Question

I was thinking, if I were to buy a Manga, from a site such as Amazon, we will use Naruto as an example.
Would any of the money actually go to Kishimoto himself? I mean, its a Manga, translated to English, so considering that;

He publishes the Manga, its then given to a company to sell, but is translated first, wouldn't he only get a small amount of the profits?

I'd really like to support him once Naruto has reached its final chapter and Arc. Or Maybe they will release a Pack, similar to Death Note, in which they sell all Volumes in one.

I'd certainly buy it since I view the Manga Online, and it would be a shame not to give him any credit for all the work he has done.

Well, most likely no... If you're buying it off amazon used or in any other form, it's likely been paid for already. Kishi's already netted his cash. But you are still technically supporting the official release.

Kishi does net a sizeable amount from all official releases. It's part of his royalty makings. I believe it was stated in bakuman or somewhere else, that apart from their salaries from shueisha, their real cash comes from merchandise and volume sales.

Yes, I looked up their brand new shippings and it seems that is the case. If you purchase the volumes in that form, you are more than likely supporting Kishi directly.

But buying the official releases is always good, in any form. Even if the money has already reached Kishi, it's the thought that counts.
