Why I want it.. hmm... >_>
It's literally useful against all opponents. You can literally spawn a clone at a blindspot or a position of advantage. This is way better than a regular shadow clone.

How I would use it in battle is fairly complex to explain it in a sentence. It's versatile so I can use it when I feel like it would make the most impact. But I could say I can use this as my main strategy while I distract my opponent with something else while my clones attack from elsewhere, giving me a huge advantage

Fairly regularly tbh. The restrictions aren't very heavy and my sharingan + dark heavy bio could use such a technique.

One of the easier counters is destroying or reflecting the incoming projectile itself but one can also change their position or the terrain so that the projectiles land unfavorably.

If i'm ugly what does that make you?

and no, if you were facing me that counter wouldn't work as (at least the way i fight) it doesn't matter where my clones are i can easily think of a counter wherever they are, up close, far away, no matter where you deflect that kunai i'm sure i can think of a way to still attack you. Destroying, yes, if you can, but i wouldn't recommend reflecting or deflecting this technique, at least not while i use it.

What would happen if one of my characters, for example, threw 5 shurikens, 3 of which is infused with this jutsu all directed towards one of your character(s) of choice. What would be the first counter you think of using?

Also, ask questions if you need to bb.

My first thought of counter for a few kunai's would generally be something that redirects the kunai back at you, using a wind jutsu.
