One time use jutsu...

There are loads of jutsu that u can only use once before u either die, or the ability gets sealed up... Such as the jutsu that brought gaara back to life, and izanagi and izanami.

But the question is, how can the user of these techniques ever learn to use them, if when u use it u can never use it again? XD

I mean it would seem a bit wierd for a very high level ninja like itachi, to use a technique like izanami in a real fight with only a theoretical knowledge of how it is done, when he usually plans everything out to the very last detail.

Any thoughts?

i dont think shadow clones would work for an eye technique like izanami and izanagi coz if they could do that then that would basically mean they could do it unlimitedly and it would ruin the point of it being a one time use

ALSO! in the newest chapter of the manga, itachi kind of made out that the uchiha clan had loads of members of the clan who could use izanagi... when we know for a fact that very few members ever gained senju dna so how could they ever perform it?

Actually he used it twice. When he infiltrated the village that naguto had under his controll he used a toad to make a sake or saki shop and then reverted it back into a toad soooo he used it twice ^_^

That's a very good question. I think they go into battle only knowing the theory behind the jutsu(hoping it works)

Actually three times if you kinda count when he killed the one pain. I think it was when ma and pa grapped him under water.

You train around the technique basically.

If you want to move a car, you train your muscles of your body. You don't spend training time trying to push the car...
