one thing i dont understand

so rin was the jinchuriki of a tailed beast, and kakashi kileed her.
and we all know that if the jinchuriki of a tailed beast dies (10 tails ecxeption) the tailed beast also dies.
so how did akatsuki get a hold of that tailed beast?

It does not die. It takes a while for the beast to come out but it does not die with them. It was stated before, but i can't recall where. Maybe someone will give you a pannel where it was stated.

The tailed beast doesn't also die, it just takes a little while for it to regain it's form. Once it was reformed, they planted it in it's new host.

Its very simple. When the host dies the bijuu dies. However the bijuu does not stay dead and will ALWAYS eventually regain its form. SO kushina would seal the 9 tails and then die, makeing the 9 tails die as well(temporarily) and would remove the immediate danger of an out of control bijuu. She knew she would only buy a little bit of time before it would regain its form.

cptenn94 is totally correct. Kushina just wanted to remove the immediate danger.

The Raikage wanted to do the same thing by killing Naruto. He said that it would buy them a bit more time, but Tsunade said that when the ninetails comes back who would host it then? Nobody has ever got as far as Naruto has in being able to control it.

3. Locate the relevant section and look for a statement. For example, "However, it is revealed that the tailed beasts can actually survive their jinchūriki's deaths, with the only consequence being that it will take time for them to revive without a host."
4. Click on or hover over the footnote that accompanies that statement. (Naruto chapter 541, page 13) and (Naruto chapter 543, page 9).
5. Find those pages and read them.
