So basically their first move/first jutsu has to be the end game for the opponent?
Which means if they used any moves prior to using the one hit win move on the enemy, then it's not considered a one shot.

no. you have to factor in plot. obviously kishi isn't going to have his fight scenes end in one-shots. if he did the manga would've ended long before it reached chapter 700. kamui, tsuku, IT, CT, TBB, all one shot for the most part.

Doesn't matter how long the "battle" was, how many hits they landedon you, how hard they hit you, or even how many hits they threw at you. As long as is only one hit that you landed caused at least a KO, you one-shotted.

I think I might've made my comment confusing.

I understand but when someone says Person A one shots Person B, then it's a guarantee that person A will succeed with his/her move without fail and wins the match. However if Person A uses any other moves beforehand then it's not considered a one shot.
Makes sense?

Not so much as the first one you use, but the first one you land.
Let's say Naruto uses Odama Rasengan Barrage, and he misses his target completly by some miracle.
He then proceeds to use Rasenshuriken, landing that one hit, and OHKO the opponent.

That for me is still a one-shot.

But let's say he lande ONE punch before that Rasenshuriken. That is no longer a one-shot.
