It wasn't much, but Nicholas had progressed. His skills had expanded and he sharpened those he already had. He still had a long ways to go and the next step had just begun. Before him stood a younger fellow, dark skinned and black of hair. It was a sunny day, a good day. Nicholas was in high spirits.

It was an afternoon full of hope and excitement in a random environment which Kilik had wandered into in one of his many expeditions. The thought of life itself filled up his mind to an extent that he was more than deeply immersed in his own mind. This private moment was interrupted by an unknown adult standing 6'2 and bulky in physique with an array of mismatching clothes that didn't look fashion appealing to the eyes. Kilik though on the other hand is wearing his fitted white shirt with rolled sleeves up to his elbows and a fitted pant trousers with matching black boots. His glasses is also on firm against his nose bone.
Kilik had just been promoted to Chunin and hadn't be that eager to test out or try out his new set of abilities but this seemed like an opportunity he needed to exploit and try out the waters. The man spoke affirmatively and even his talk signalled dedication but Kilik was uninterested in all the rambles but since he had no choice, playing along was his best bet. The stranger made the first offensive move by sending a jet of water through the earth racing towards its target, Kilik but by swiftly analysing the situation and drawing up possible methods of counters and evasions, Kilik could not fail but see the number of flaws inherent in the technique used. Being a low projectile and weak choice, Kilik could effortlessly sway the technique off like it was air.
Without putting much effort Kilik would wait till the jet reached a few centimeters from him before he carefully leaps up into the air above the jet of water and with utmost skill and precise execution, he would release series of small fire shots into the air that rains down upon the heavily dressed man in resemblance to a meteor shower/strike. Indeed he was an Uchiha and thus he had the proficiency and intelligence as one so to further put the man in an extremely tight spot by influencing the fire strike with a simple illusion that is still formidable. The man would see a large fireball descend on him from above and envelope him completely till he was lost to the mind manipulation. Kilik would land back on the ground safely away from the jet of water that would have soared off into oblivion. Kilik would then activate his chakra sensory to be able to discern and perceive as the conflict ensued. A series of kunais would be thrown at the stranger with targets being critical parts of the man's body and any hit could prove fatal. The targets were his hips, groin, kneecaps, and abdomen, all which were marked and would be hit considering the Uchiha's proficiency with bukininjutsu.

Description: This is a very advanced of advancing the ability to feel and sense chakra. The technique allows the user to concentrate and detect someone's chakra. Users can use this to determine the nature of a jutsu used as well as sense masses of chakra. The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.
Note: Can only be used by bios with Sensory ability.
Note: After having on a bio for 1 month, users gain the ability to activate Sensory passively.
Just a heads up, you can't avoid techniques like that. Even if it makes logical sense, its still against the rules to "free form" dodge. You could use a technique that lifts you into the air or pushes you to the side, but you can't just say you jump or sidestep to avoid it.
Nicholas raised his hand towards the fireballs and released a torrent of water much like a fire hose. The stream of water easily snuffed out the flames.

It was then that the massive fireball took shape in the sky. Nicholas adjusted his hand to try and combat the flames with the jet of water, but it seemed to have no effect. It was then that Nicholas noticed the lack of heat that should have accompanied a fireball of that size.
An illusion? When did he...
Nicholas grabbed the grip of the saber on his left hip and drew it from its sheath. As he did this, he ran the blade along the underside of his left forearm giving himself a moderate, but manageable cut. The pain of the slash freed his mind from the illusion and the giant fireball faded away. He was then faced with a series of incoming kunai, each one was met with his blade and batted away. With the last kunai deflected he channeled wind chakra to his blade and then swung it forward, releasing a powerful whirlwind that barreled down on Kilik.

Description: This technique utilizes wind chakra into the users sword and then swings it to create a powerful whirlwind of sharp winds. The core skill behind the technique is the timing between channeling chakra into the sword and releasing it as the sword is swung.
Fairly easy was the word to describe and explain how the strange looking adult dealt with the fire balls but those were only set up plans for the consequent illusion-based assault which Kilik considers a success due to the damage that had to be done to get freed of the effects. Strike one was completed!
The stranger would be occupied with the kunai blades by the time Kilik's next set of assault was ready to be dispatched to the victim. By focusing/charging water-based chakra directly into the ground beneath the victim, it would cause a sudden outwards outburst of water that is more than capable of lifting the adult into air disorienting him momentarily while he's subjected to gravity.
Though still an amateur with illusions but Kilik has always being noted to be a potential mind manipulator by peers and teachers and it was stated that his proficiency in the art would be jaw dropping. This is why the young lad has been practicing and incorporating the art into his fighting scheme from time to time. So, as the adult shot up into the air, Kilik would invade his mind once again and force his thoughts into the man as easy as it comes. Suddenly the surrounding environment around the man would become heavily distorted and it would seem impossible to get things right in this strenuous situation yet alone figure issues out while gravity is running its course of pulling the adult back down.
In the course of the illusion taking full effect, Kilik would have successfully released a special kind of fire that upon its releases rushes towards the target and engulfs him completely till they get burnt. Due to the number of clothes on him, the victim would get burnt faster at the cost of double damage due to the flame having something to feed on.

It was then that the world around him became distorted, a much less subtle illusion than the previous, but one that needed to be dealt with quickly. This time he jabbed the pommel of his saber into the open wound on his left forearm, splitting the wound further and sending a surge of pain through his arm. He was freed from the illusion to land on the ground where he grimaced in pain. These illusions were becoming a problem, he was destroying his own body just to free his mind.

With fire racing towards him, Nicholas spit out a wave of water that washed over the flames. The fire and water clashed and destroyed each other, leaving steam in its wake. Nicholas immediately took control of the water vapor and expanded it across the field, creating a thick mist that hid his position. He quickly began to move in an arc to his left.

Description: This displacement technique creates a thick mist to spring forth by lifting up some water from either a pre-existing source or expelled from their mouth, then goes in and out of sight at will from within the pearly-white realm. The mist's thickness is controlled by the amount of chakra kneaded into it. It can't fool the Byakugan, but, due to the mist being created with the user's chakra, any Sharingan and Rinnegan-user will see the mist coloured by their opponent's chakra, which will effectively hide the user from the dōjutsu.
Note: Can be created through releasing from mouth or manipulating a nearby water source.
Although humans have being regarded as an higher class of animals narrowing their genus to the homo-sapiens genes but still, it is believed that every human still possesses an ounce of beastly behaviour in them...be it cannibalism, cruelty or sheer inhumane manners, these qualities reveals only during fear, rage or as a primal survival instinct. These characteristics are already developing in the stranger's being, Kilik's constant intrusion of his mind is beginning to drive his foe towards insanity slowly and Kilik would keep pushing him on till he looses it completely and go astray.
Kilik watches and analyses the bulky man's reaction to his mapped out plan and assesses the man's brainpower through his choice of techniques and performance. From using a stream of wind to stabilize himself mid air as Kilik's water pillar throws him up to re-stabbing an existing wound to free himself from an illusion, down to creating a veil of mist to mask his location - the man was in between smart and dumb yet he did not deserve the title of an "average".
The veil of mist was a wrong move for the stranger but it was an opportunity placed on a platter of gold for Kilik as he's known to exploit lots of carved openings such as this. Though there was a mist covering, Kilik still kept tabs on the enemy by locating his chakra source directly out of the bits and pieces of his chakra scattered in the air but the enemy still isn't aware of this fact and would think he had succeeded in his hiding for awhile.
In a moment's notice, Kilik will hurl kunai with pouches attached to their base at his hiding target that upon impact, the pouches would explode and release small explosive notes - a shower of notes will rain down on the enemy and with the throw of a final kunai with an active explosive note, it will begin to burn and by igniting the falling smaller notes it will cause a gigantic explosion. The veil would successfully mask and hide the kunais initial movements until it was too late for the stranger to escape or dodge.
While this happened, Kilik would have made the tiger seal and with the use of the river as a source sent out two of his replicas made out of water towards the stranger with both flanking his location from Left and Right yet maintaining short range distance from the victim as they await for instructions from the main and watch as the victim tries to defile death, which he knew nothing about. While moving towards his left, Nicholas heard the whistling sound of sharp weapons cutting through the air and they were headed his way. It seemed the mist would not be enough to hide himself from this enemy. He waited until the weapons came into vision and then parried them with his saber, but as he did the attached pouches released paper tags around him. Acting quickly, Nicholas threw his saber forward towards his enemy and released a stream of wind from his mouth that formed into a trio of swirling tornadoes. The twisters sucked up the paper notes and lifted them high into the air. By the time the final explosive kunai erupted, the explosions were high enough to leave him out of harms way.

There is absolutely nothing more fulfilling for a mastermind and a plan perfectionist than his victim falling into his traps as expected. The thought of having prepping up a set of techniques with a foresight of what is intended to be the possible outcome - now materializing before the maker's eyes brings about an intriguing feeling of completion and superiority against the enemy who was unfortunate to fall prey to the well-drawn plan to eliminate the outlived vermin. It was very hilarious to see the stranger battle wits with strength in his quest to stay alive in this one-sided encounter with a prodigy. The stranger tried to pull a number on Kilik as he battled on with the falling explosive notes and kunai's with his saber. The man threw his saber blade at Kilik in between his defense acts which would be more than obvious as it pierced through the mist and sliced through the air making close to a whistling sound as it moves closer. In a split of a second while focusing on the man's chakra source (he would be creating the wind to raise the paper bombs now), Kilik would drop to the ground (to evade the saber and continue his move) and induce an interesting illusion into the man's mind again which would serve to do two things at the same time. One, at the moment the illusion assaults the man, he would loose control over the wind he had intended to carry the bombs with and since the wind would cease to exist, the bombs would rain back down on the man and do as they were intended to do (blast him into tiny bits and pieces). Meanwhile, the illusion takes place as planned as the man would begin noticing a large number of rats appear around him and crawl up on him as though they were real and bite the living hell out of him till he feels uncomfortable and uneasy while he feels irritated - multilevel effects of the rat bite fever would set on him in mere seconds.(full effects in illusion description)
To finish things off, a cherry on top of the cake Kilik had prepared, Kilik would charge chakra into his water clones positioned on the man's right and left respectively and dissolve them back into water to shoot outwards - towards the victim as a four pointed projectiles from both sides with the intention of causing extreme damage and hurt upon contact..
(Genjutsu: Kiba no Yokubou Nezumi) Illusionary Arts: Fangs of Lusting Rats

Description: The user will perform one handseal and make illusionary rats appear from anywhere in the sight of the target. The rats will seemingly climb onto the target, then proceed to bite and attack the target. The bites will cause a target to experience Streptobacillosis, in other words, Rat Bite Fever. Their skin starts to become irritated, causing them to scratch the irritating spot. The target also experiences a false fever, getting the chills and red/purple bumps on their skin. The user can add smoke when creating the rats to be more realistic.
