One reason why Sasuke looks that way

Kishi did say that Sasuke was the hardest to draw and when he tries to draw him, he had to be careful not to make him look too old. My guess is that Ikemoto might be having similar difficulties drawing him hence why Sasuke looks 'ugly'

On a side note, as for the others, they actually don't look that bad. Sakura, Hinata and Himawari actually look good especially with Ikemoto's art style, though I personally prefer Kishi's art style but they are still good. Could have been a little better but overall not bad. Inojin and Shikadai, however, still needs some work

I doubt it. That quote was from when Sasuke was supposed to be a wise looking 13 year old. Now he's well into his 30's. He doesn't need to prevent him from looking old.

Sasuke was the last minute edition as they did not plan to end a rival until the last moment, or so they say, im not sure, so maybe that is also why it took time, to make a last minute character, with the look that has been through a lot, who has matured enough, but still is a kid and not mature enough to look old. like itachi. Itachi was 17 when he first appeared and he looked like some 27 or 30 year old guy especially with that wrinkle thing under his eye. thats what i feel

Lel, I wasn't sure who was the author so I kept it as Kishi.

He probably looks that way because Sauce used some sort of transformation jutsu to scare Suckura away from him permanently, coz he's no longer a man who resorts to violence like he did in his younger days. :bdpf:
