Does the new episode of naruto shippuden be released in japan before coming online i mean like a week after or something?????

Usually after the episode is released, people work on subbing it right away, I'm pretty sure.... So within a day I guess? I'm not to sure on this subject.

I've always wondered this as well. I guess they go for subbing it almost immediately as it is aired in multiple definitions.

I'm pretty sure it's a matter of a couple hours, mainly for the subtitles. Besides, finding a the Japanese version is pretty difficult. Not worth the effort really.

Crunchyroll provides episodes one hour after they air in Japan. You need a paid account to be able to watch them, else you'll have to wait a week before they become free-access.

The front page of this website provides a download link within a few hours of the episode airing. It's the not-legal way to see it.

The translators/writers/timers are Crunchyroll employees (those are job positions at their company, which means they do the subtitling), which means the translation and subtitles are owned by Crunchyroll. This means that when the episodes are released on DVD which is published by Viz, a different company, Viz has to make their own translation. So the DVD release might be a little different.

Hulu Plus airs episodes one hour after being broadcast in Japan. Subbed/Viz version. Hulu Plus is the subscription channel. Regular Hulu airs them a week later for free.
