According to the wiki about the no. 1 in hero association :

"Blast has a spiky black hair and wears a superhero suit with a cape similar to Saitama's. Unlike Saitama's suit however, there is a fiery contour around the zipper."

And as we can see in manga that Saitama too had black spiky hair, not to mention the unexplainable power.

Do you guys think Saitama is actually Blast who has got some kind of memory loss ?

He's caped baldy, he can't be registered as both. Also saitama is indirectly the reason that the hero association even exists murata/one wouldn't be so wasteful with the strongest hero spot by giving it to saitaama as well

Thats before he lost his hair. Remember how the entire hero association started. Saitama saved the founder's grandson from a lobster/crab monster. Thats when he had his hair. So that right there and then he was already No. 1 in the Hero Association.

2nd, it took him 3 years to become who he is now. Pay attention to the montage.

Lastly, no one acknowledges the current Saitama or even heard of him and he doesnt get why. He thought everyone knows him by now. (they do, as blast)but because he looks completely different from when he was just starting out as, hes as if a newcomer

strength-wise at that point, he was far from S-class hero let alone stronger than any other person that could have made it as well(making him lose the spot), also in order to be a hero you have to register so if we assume saitama had registered and was given the title at that point due to his bravery, why would he go there with genos and do it again knowing that he had done it already?

Also, aside from all that, Saitama cares about reputation and fame, do you honestly believe that if he knew he was Blast aka the strongest hero in the entire world, he wouldn't claim his spot?

No recent one's chapter quashed this. Read the spoilers if you want:-
Tsumaki met Blast as a child and he was a grown man which isn't possible if Saitama was blast.
What's more funny is that like Saitama, Blast too considered being a hero his hobby XD.
What's more funny is the fact that blast had a job and hair too XD
So Blast> Saitama XD

Blast isn't Saitama. Its a waste. Although his lack of appearances is interesting, Blast could be a someone else.

Besides I doubt just because you go bald someone won't recognize your face.

I always kinda liked the theory that last was more metaphorical than literal. that would be a let down though

Saitama and Blast are not the same character, there are reasons why, some of them mentioned here. One of them being that Saitama was one of the original reasons for the creation of the hero society, after he saved the son of the creator. Though it is obvious that Saitama is the strongest being so far in the anime/manga.

No, it would be disappointing (at least for me) if Saitama was Blast. Saitama is the strongest hero. Blast is Blast, it could be someone else but not Saitama.

Blast is not Saitama. Blast has been a hero even before Saitama began training if I remember correctly.

What if Blast is a foil of Saitama. Saitama started off a worthless scrub that had no will to live, then became the strongest hero. Blast would then start as the strongest (unofficial) hero, and find interest in being a regular scrub.
