Remember Momoshiki recognizing Naruto’s bijuu chakra as “the Fox” & everyone was like how does he know what a fox is, why isn’t he surprised the chakra is in the sentient form of a fox? He said “the fox” like he’s familiar with Kurama etc.


The Ootsusuki clan revealing they saw the events of the last unfold means they say a big ass fox made of chakra from a shinju tree on the moon going ham.

They either learned that the creature was called a fox or they’re already familiar with the same type of creatures found on earth. They do know what a dragon is after all.

So yeah hope we can all rest easy now.

Momoshiki should not know of Naruto and Kurama until later in the Boruto series, nearing the Chuunin Exam Arc. When Momoshiki interrupted the Chuunin Exams, Naruto enters Bijuu Mode, appearing as a Fox.

If the Anime is saying Momoshiki knows of the Bijuu before, then they must be set up as a Filler to add more context to the Boruto story.

That isn't quite true. Even in the movie, Momoshiki knew about the bijuus before meeting Naruto. Remember, he fought Bee and absorbed Gyuki.
