Just what is One Piece? This is the question we all are asking from a long time but i think oda has already told us from the chapter 1.
One Piece- Wealth, Fame,Power!!!
This is what we have been told about it right now and that is exactly what it is.
Wealth - I think raftel is the island where only luffy can reach or may be there is the secret way of going an unknown place where only people capable of being PK can reach and there is the tons of treasure which can make you a lot richer than anyone.Even an Interviewer has asked oda in one of the interview that is one piece is only treasure and oda replied that it has more of it.
Fame - Obviously by conquering the whole sea and reaching that last island Raftel will give you the fame more than anyone.
Power - To conquer the whole sea you definitely need power to defeat the top tiers like younkou and admirals.
Now on the the basis of the things i have mentioned above, i have reached to the conclusion that a Polenglyph lead to a specific way from where you can reach raftel. And that is true i guess bcoz nobody has reached there except roger, everybody is just roaming around the sea, from new world to grand line. Even Buggy and shanks didn't became a PK yet and can't reach there even though they were a crewmate of roger so it clearly states that they never reach raftel and dont know how to reach there. On marineford arc whitebeard had flashback where Rogers told him about how to reach raftel, so it clearly not a normal island where you can reach so easily.
We all know that BlackBeard is the main villian of the series so maybe he will figure it out about the polenglyph leading to raftel so he will secretly follow SHP and luffy and teach will have the final showdown in raftel(and they both will be the worlds one of the strongest peoples) where obviously luffy will win and satisfies the one last condition of One Piece i.e. POWER-only by defeating a worlds strongest "D". Because obviously will of D has got to do something with one piece.
Now luffy has become a Pk, how the world will know about it, obviously people will think he is joking or is a fraud(and obviously there wont be any giant DEN DEN mushi on raftel, which will telecast all this thing to the whole world) so maybe there will be a giant epic entrance to the raftel which will astonish the whole world (or worlds top tiers present there atm) and only luffy or blackbeard or some random strong "D" can enter and eventually the only survivor which will came out alive from there will be considered a PIRATE KING.

POWER - Defeating WG or Blackbeard surely proves that you are strong.:scorps:
Fame - Becoming a PK, surely gives you a fame in an unwanted way.:hooray:
