Well this is my third or fourth time trying to get hook up with this anime and finally i have. I did like the first episode now so i guess i'ma try to watch 20 episodes by tomorrow and hopefully see if it's worth all the praise that this anime/manga gets.

I'm hoping that luffy is going to be the one that is going to the be the boss of his crew.

You're the dude who caught up with the HxH anime recently, right? The OP anime is alright, it's good at the first few 100 eps but after a while the pacing gets bad. It won't be much of a problem since you are going to marathon it. Btw, the praise that OP gets is mainly with the manga, not so much it's anime. That being said, the anime is good at the beginning.

First few episodes are terrible if you ask me. I'd suggest you to skip first 50 episodes or more to figure out the real wroth of OP.

Just watched episode 2 and 3 and zoro joined him! He even calls him captain! :*-*:

Dam he had to punch the dude with glasses so he wouldn't be exposed to the marines as pirates.

So far i'm noticing that marines are the police and the villains are the pirates BUT the marines look like the ones that are the villains.

I'm getting used to the art so yeah... wanted to say that

I wish I was you srsly, damn its kind of boring to wait for episodes evry week, and when that episode comes it wil only cover 10 to 11 pages of the manga, its pacing is frustrating compared to Naruto and Fairy tail which covers about 3 chapters.

That's Toei for you. The bad anime pacing won't change sadly.

I know haha and that's why i'm going to take my time to caught up with the manga readers.

5 episodes a day would probably take me a year probably.

10 episodes so far that I've watched. I'ma take a break now.
