Yeah just like Obito who was hyped so much to be the greatest villian has an obsession over a 12 year old girl.
Are you seriously coming to a conclusion about a series from just one episode? It really seems like you are. OP has over-exaggerated/"weird" features to it but that's the charm to OP that no series can execute properly. Your statement is invalid.
I'm sorry, I missed the part where anyone in Naruto was addicted to drugs. Or are you really trying to say DNA is a drug? C'mon Ira, you know that's not true.
The Uchiha wasn't really a case of eugenics, evident by how Sasuke was kept alive. The Uchiha were a group of people that needed to be eliminated, and they just happened to be a family. They weren't eliminated BECAUSE they were a family. That's why it's not eugenics.
When has Naruto ever dealt with racism? Don't even say Jinchurikis or Tailed Beasts, they're not races.
When has Naruto had corrupted government? You mean Danzo? He was no more part of the government than was a private organization.
And why Naruto has to have a drug addicts or other problem in exactly the same way you are familiar with?
Anyway Kabuto is indeed in drug abuse quite a lot. Most of his skills come though popping pills all the time. Uchiha clan's end would be termed a genocide not eugenics. Eugenics comes in play when there is attempt to artificially enhance certain traits and kill of the unwanted ones. Oro showed little mercy to his failed experiments.
They have been cultivating Hashirama's DNA. Why would they kill all the uchihas off and destroy their power entirely? They saved and used it for their own use after the genocide even used those sharingans.
Danzou affected the government decisions and was a hokage however brief it was. Hanzou was once very renowned but we learned how he had fallen when dealing with akatsuki. His alliance with Danzou kille Yahiko off and the akatsuki was never the same again. Other villages used Akatsuki mercenaries for their own profit later on. The system which mad Zabuza itself was rotten to the core and what about elimination of Haku's clan and Uzumaki's? All the fights and mass killings .. Kids losing life on their first day in war ( Nawaki), people like Itachi which get in situations where they are the one losing either way whether they win or lose...and the list goes on.
I think you forget the TNJ of Naruto comes with a back drop of fight for power, violence and war settings.
Not really going in detail but you need to pay attention to the story and what's really going on here. Naruto is not about awesome panels but story of people who have been struggling with themselves.
Either way if every story would be handled the same way they all will be boring. People read different mangas for different reasons.

You brought up some solid points, there was definitely the topic of eugenics and experimentation in Naruto(though more so in part 1 but it was there regardless) however I disagree with the parts in bold. Kabuto didn't pop pills for power at least not that comes to mind if you know a page or chapter showing that, that would be good to see because I can't think of a time when Kabuto "UnderDogged"(If you don't know UnderDog was a superhero who had a ring full of power pills) it.
Also, Danzo was only a Hokage candidate and forcibly appointed himself leader he was never technically elected to the position and he will not get his face on the mountain, thus he is not considered a real Hokage.
Wow. You judging an anime by one episode you watched that comes literally further than halfway in the series. You don't even know what's going on? Lol
No, it's a good show, but it started falling the hell off after the timeskip. Fishman Island was OK, shit only went downhill from there. You picked out the worst place to sample One Piece at.
Proof please. OP arguably has more references to our real world than Naruto does. Naruto just emphasizes friendship for the most part. (OP does too but not to the extent of Naruto)
Your whole argument on One Piece is S.H.I.T.
Your knowledge on the "General Plot" of One Piece is not more than 0.00001 Percent. And on top of that you directly watched Episode 621. How the hell you watched it completely?
@OP please do describe everything you know about the general plot so we can see how much you don't know about OP, it's like wanting to be a scientist but only being at the university for one day listening to calculations you haven't the first clue about
second: you say it's silly and stupid, than please explain to me how it can be more successful than the other 2 ''big 3'' combined? also how can it be the most successful manga eve? why do most ppl who actually read all 3 prefer OP?
I know you will never give it a shot, but if you did I'm sure you would see what OP fans are actually talking about

His first fight with Tsunade, he powered up himself with

. Besides he is all about constant enhancements with stolen DNA and what not all the time. Why you even need further proof? Anyway here is the image- last panel and check out the next page of the manga to confirm what he popped in his mouth.

Danzou's organization worked for Konoha from undergrounds and did all kinds of things the Hokage wouldn't dirty his hands directly. He and Oro both trained and created spies for Konoha. Kabuto and his mother were among them. He got Tsunade to add Sai to Naruto's team. Root may have been an ugly sister ANBU kept an eye on in Hokage's interest, but it didn't try to erase it. How come he was not part of the government? Even his rise as Hokage tricky it maybe, is a political act and he was there in the circle to present himself for the position. It doesn't matter how he became how Hokage and how short lived it was. He was there even he wouldn't have been one. He is the definition of not so nice government official/politician in Konoha.
Naruto doesn't deal with mass corruption. But it does deal with intricate characters who are shaped as a result of wars, violence and conflicts, including war crimes.
Edit: For further discussion on this see you in Naruto sections sometimes as it would lead to derailing thins thread if we went too deep in discussing another manga. Otherwise let's just agree to disagree on controversial points.
On the topic of One Piece:
I feel mildly irked by both parties who make threads to either sign it off cursorily or those who make threads that "not liking is stupid " and suggest that not liking it makes one inferior in some way.
Not everyone is looking for the same kind of entertainment. We like different dishes, different style of clothing different ideologies. Just read what you like and let others read what they like without being this pushy.
look, don't judge an anime off of one ep. I love OP and in my opinion it's the best anime ever. But 2 yrs ago, I thought it was complete trash. I took the time to sit and watch the eps, and after Alabasta I felt in touch with it, I shared their dreams, I felt their fights. When has Naruto made you cry over a possession such as Konoha getting destroyed, I didn't cry, Konoha always gets destroyed. But when the Merry got burned I had tears in my eye every time I thought of it for the next 3 days. Their character development is by far the best, they don't leave people in the dust like Naruto and I love that
So please before you judge, take your time to watch the anime before dissing it
